NYT provides Biden red herring excuse not to debate

As Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden shows ever advancing signs of cognitive decline, his media allies have come up with a scheme to give him cover.

Enter Tom Friedman, far left New York Times columnist. In his recent (subscription required) column, he advises frequently confused (shocking video compilation) Joe Biden not to engage in routine pre-election debates with President Donald Trump, unless Trump agrees to release his tax returns.

Turning Trump’s tax returns into a hinge issue to avoid debates is a convenient way for Biden’s handlers — aided by the ever obliging Tom Friedman — to keep Biden from having to answer unscripted questions.

The presidency is an ongoing platform for spontaneous responses on daily new topics. If Biden hides from pre-election debates, how would he function if he was in the Oval Office instead of holed up in his basement bunker? 

The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to release their final three opinions of the current term this morning, two of them dealing with politically-based subpoenas for President Trump’s financial records, including his tax returns. The anything but randomly timed subpoenas originated from Democrat Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance, Jr. and biased House committees, aiming to negatively impact the president’s upcoming reelection.
