AZ Republic reports “boy” shot at DPS agents & Update

UPDATE: Breitbart News verifies what SRAZ suspected, that Luis German Espinoza Acuna, who ambushed and shot at Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) detectives is an illegal alien. The Arizona Republic continues to conceal that pertinent information.

Thursday, just days following the shooting of a uniformed officer at the U.S. federal courthouse in Phoenix, a Department of Public Safety trooper was shot at multiple times while stepping out of his vehicle by a “boy” who is now in custody. His accomplice, who was driving, sped off and is being sought. The officer was uninjured.

The Arizona Republic is doing what it does best…obfuscating and deflecting, when the facts don’t fit its agenda, such as his legal status, which goes unmentioned.

This is a direct quote from the newspaper’s online coverage:

“Officials said the boy was arrested and the gun was recovered from the scene. The Arizona Republic is not identifying the teen because he is a minor.”

The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) is not so reticent as seen in this video news conference including the punk’s photo (2:39 min.) His name is Luis German Espinoza Acuna. He is 17-years-old and shot an AK-47 at a clearly marked officer. At 17, he is old enough to sport a caterpillar mustache on his upper lip and has a practiced steely-eyed glare.

He is also old enough to be tried as an adult. Arizona Revised Statues Title 13. Criminal Code § 13-501 addresses charging definitions for persons under 18 years of age.

During the news conference, DPS Director Colonel Heston Silbert noted that to date this year, “74 law enforcement officers have been killed in the line of duty in the United States.”

That’s 74 too many.

Two days earlier a trio of Arizona Republic reporters described a drive-by shooter as “a person,” who was taken into custody after shooting a security officer with the U.S. Marshall’s Office outside the Sandra Day O’Connor Federal Courthouse in downtown Phoenix.  He had a name, of course. James Lee Carr, 68, is black, another fact they preferred to obscure as ‘Black Lives Matter’ is heralded, despite the reign of terror and destruction its adherents and hangers-on have unleashed on countless American cities.
