Indeed there is an ill founded rumor that American people are stupid. Back when Obama was running first time around the camera zeroed in on Obama and wife as they stood by the stage curtain. Back in the beginning of his running for the nomination he was at a podium with his wife and she was speaking. She extended her hand and Sleepy Joe bent towards her and started sucking on one of her fingers. She was stunned momentarily and then retracted her hand. HIS BEST GAFF. That would make a whopper of a GOP ad but likely no longer to be found.
