Biden caught in cash for influence scandal

Not a single word of this scandal was reported by the Joe Biden-supporting Arizona Republic

The New York Post broke a mega story Wednesday connecting the vehemently denied dots directly linking Hunter Biden and his then-Obama Vice President dad, Joe Biden, to influence peddling at the top levels in the Ukrainian government.

The shocking report filled with damning documents and photos exposed by reporters Emma-Jo Morris and Gabrielle Fonrouge is headlined, “Smoking-gun email reveals how Hunter Biden introduced Ukrainian businessman to VP dad.” The report was censored by leftwing Twitter and Facebook.

Hunter Biden, a less than classy individual, introduced his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, to a top executive at Burisma Holdings a Ukrainian energy firm less than a year before the elder Biden pressured government officials in Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company, according to emails obtained by The NY Post.

Hunter Biden, a known crack cocaine addict, was on the Burisma board from 2014 to 2019 after being kicked out of the Navy Reserve in 2013 due to his addiction. At the time Burisma was engulfed in a corruption investigation while his father was heading the Obama administration’s effort to curb Ukraine’s widespread corrupt dealings, creating a clear conflict of interest.

Except for his father’s political prominence, there is no discernible reason for the younger Biden to have secured at seat on the board of disreputable Burisma. He does not speak Ukrainian and has no background in energy, yet his reported salary exceeded $50,000 a month.

Newly divorced, the then-father of three, romanced his dead brother’s widow before fathering a child with a stripper. He only fulfilled his child support obligations after a court order following DNA testing proved his paternity. Most recently, he married again after a 10-day courtship. They are now parents. Hunter has acknowledged six stints in rehab for alcoholism and addiction.

The never-before-revealed meeting is mentioned in a message of appreciation that Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma, sent Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015, about a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board:

“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the email reads.

An earlier email from May 2014 also shows Pozharskyi, reportedly Burisma’s No. 3 executive, asking Hunter for “advice on how you could use your influence” on the company’s behalf.

The blockbuster correspondence — which flies in the face of Joe Biden’s claim that he’s “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings” — is contained in a massive trove of data recovered from a laptop computer, unclaimed from a repair shop, which the shop owner turned over to authorities.
