Mark Kelly forced to apologize for anti-police press spokesman

Arizonans who watched Republican Sen. Martha McSally debate Soros-funded Dem challenger Mark Kelly know his often repeated line, memorized and recited by rote like a school boy, was “My parents were both police officers.”

How odd then, that he is now apologizing for his deputy press spokesman T.J. L’Heureux’s obscene twitter comment about police. Kelly, with deep business and financial ties to Communist China, apologized Thursday for  L’Heureux’s earlier tweet calling Chicago officers “worthless f—ing pigs.”

The obviously unvetted radical L’Heureux who previously was a press advisor for former 2020 presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg, is getting passed around like a damp towel in a San Francisco bathhouse.

L’Heureux’s tweet, clearly revealing his true feelings, was posted a week before he was hired as Mark Kelly’s deputy press spokesman…now being referred to as a “junior staffer.” It came in response to a video showing Chicago officers seizing open umbrellas from pillaging street thugs during a violent encounter as the mob worked to topple a statue of Christopher Columbus. A city official later stated the BLM protesters and Antifa had used the umbrellas as weapons and to shield their faces from view as they pelted police with frozen water bottles, bricks, rocks, pipes and explosive fireworks. Forty-nine police officers were injured, many seriously.

Had any of those officers had been Mark Kelly’s mother or father, we would hope his response would have been less insipid. But bought-and-paid-for candidate Kelly can’t veer too far from the Dem’s party line, which vilifies and calls for defunding our dedicated police — intertwined with his own anti-Second Amendment agenda, which leave law-abiding Americans as vulnerable sitting ducks.

The “worthless f—ing pigs” post was removed Thursday morning from L’Heureux’s account, which was then made private. He also needs to be removed from Kelly’s payroll.
