Radical Virginia Gov., AG cancel gun shows

Virginia dems bow to anti-Second Amendment gun restrictions that were fundamental to the Harris/Biden campaign

The state of Virginia stands as a testament to decay. The Declaration of Independence was written by Thomas Jefferson, a brilliant Virginian who served as third President of the United States from 1801 to 1809. He was responsible for doubling the size of the United States by successfully brokering the Louisiana Purchase, land previously owned by France. He also founded the University of Virginia.

Virginia patriots served in the Continental Army and fought against Great Britain, eventually leading to the British surrender at Yorktown, Virginia.

The Second Amendment, ensuring the right to bear arms, was ratified in 1791. Virginia is one of 44 states that have the right to “bear arms” embedded in their own constitutions. Virginia’s law reads much like the U.S. Constitution.

Fast forward to 2020, where freedom takes a sharp left turn. Virginia’s democrat governor and attorney general have cancelled ‘The Nation’s Gun Show,’ scheduled for this weekend, November 20, 21 & 22 at the Dulles Expo Center. Read the notice here. The event was expected to draw 25,000 people who intended to exercise not only their First Amendment rights to assemble freely, but also their Second Amendment rights.

Attorney General Mark Herring is a gun restrictionist who repeatedly refers to constitutional firearms proponents as “the gun lobby,” as seen in this earlier press release.

Gov. Ralph Northam, another democrat, was able to get seven of his gun control bills passed in the Virginia House of Delegates as reported by Breitbart News.

Northam, who opposes the death penalty for the most vicious criminals, can’t pretend his opposition to the Second Amendment is to save lives. As SRAZ previously pointed out, Northam, a onetime medical doctor who specialized in pediatric neurology, condones abortions up until birth, more correctly described as infanticide.

Hypocrisy has its home in the democrat party.
