Gateway Pundit keeps Maricopa County’s ballot audit in national spotlight

In a May 5, 2021 letter* to Karen Fann, president of the Arizona State Senate, Pamela S. Karlan,** the head of the Biden administration’s Justice Department’s civil rights division, claimed the Maricopa County ballot recount is illegal. “We have a concern that Maricopa County election records, which are required by federal law to be retained and preserved, are no longer under the ultimate control of elections officials, are not being adequately safeguarded by contractors, and are at risk of damage or loss,” Karlan wrote.

Facts proved otherwise, Sen. Fann was not deterred, and the ballot audit not only continued, but spurred other states to take similar action.

Through it all, Gateway Pundit (GP) has been a reliable source of information.
