In it’s simplest form, a FARADAY CAGE is any metal cookie tin with metal lid. Or an all metal garbage can with metal lid. This radiation can come in 2 forms: Electrical and Magnetic. To block the electrical form, any metal enclosure works. For a home you can line a closet or sleeping area with aluminum foil on ALL sides and make sure its connected to a good Earth ground. To block magnetic radiation you must use alternating layers of ferrous (magnetic) and non ferrous (non magnetic) metals. You can check effectiveness using an ordinary Boy Scout compass. The more layers of metal in your FARADAY CAGE the less magnetic field can get thru. Use layers of aluminum and steel or tin or copper. Aluminum foil is the cheapest way to do it.
