Stephen Kinzer Retrospective: 100 Years of the U.S. Overthrowing Governments

Award-winning author, journalist and academic, Stephen Kinzer (born August 4, 1951) reported on wars, foreign affairs, and world events. As a former New York Times correspondent, and later with the Boston Globe, Kinzer has published several books, chronicling US interventions and the sordid history of US imperialism.

In this unique compendium assembled by Film Archives, Kinzer hashes out his unique brand of pragmatic noninterventionist activism and journalism in a series public speaking events and interviews spanning over the course of nearly a decade (2001-2008), and covering some of the most seminal events in recent history.
