You should understand that sexual relations are a matter of responsibility. They should be had within a committed intimate partnership, and if you are going to have sexual relations with a person, it should be understood that one of the possibilities of being together is that there could be conception. If you are going to be with one another, you should be prepared for that to happen, you should be able to deal with that, to have a child. You should control pregnancy through the use of birth control, but on the other hand, if a pregnancy does appear, you should be happy to have had it happen and go through with it unless there is some medical reason why the woman cannot endure the pregnancy. In other words, there should not be abortions. The whole matter of abortion is already a reflection of entanglement in the karmic realm.
