AZ Republic’s long awaited apology misses the mark

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Alluding to cramps more offensive than daily assault of leftwing dishonesty and promoting abortions

The Arizona Republicis a failing relic from another time. It has fallen on hard times and few subscribers remain, due not only to its relentless leftwing bias, but to the fact that day-old news thrown on a driveway has been replaced by instant news, as close as your pocket and providing a wide variety of perspectives rather than the constant drone of a far-left whine. It has even curtailed deliveries to paid subscribers in an effort to keep itself afloat.

Yet Sunday’s edition momentarily provided some hope that the editorial board that veers so far left it is impossible to correct its stance, had seen the light. Tucked away on page 4A was this all caps headlined, NOTE TO READERS:

“The Dilbert cartoon in today’s newspaper contains material that could be offensive to many readers. Unfortunately, our comics section was pre-printed, and we were not able to replace it with another comic strip.  We apologize to readers who find offense.”

For this Dilbert cartoon which mentions “cramps” to be considered offensive, but the daily barrage of leftist insults and month-long same-sex ’”pride” events rate a pass, exemplifies the insanity that drives the Hillary-endorsing, Trump-despising, out-of-touch with reality, garbage can liner. Monday’s edition includes a multi-page “report” peddling the lie that abortion has been overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court, which merely turned the decision back to the individual state legislatures. Reporter Stephanie Innes actually used the words, “Pregnant person’s rights.” Attributing pregnancy to something only women experience is a bridge too far for radicals. And granting “personhood” status to preborn human infants rates as abhorrent.
