You’d think if the sun rises from East and sets in West, because the Earth is rotating from Washington, towards New York, that Texas would be moving away from the plane while we are in the air, and it would take a minute or two longer to land, but no, same amount of time…and I’m joking about a minute considering how many thousands of miles it’s supposed to be rotating for the length of travel,
But get this, going from Texas to Washington state, you’d think the earth would be rotating to meet the plane as it flies towards Washington against the direction of the rotation, so the travel time should be less, but it’s not.
And yeah, the amount of gas they claim a plane needs is debunked. It needs gas to get in the air, and the technology uses the arir current to keep you flying.
If you aren’t a droid, or robotoid, or even a clone without feelings, you’d feel the pilot slow down the plane sometimes while flying. You can feel it lagging back, as if they’d arrive too early if they didn’t intervene.
Maybe that’s so air traffic control can control how many planes can land at any particular time.
