There are solutions to this but the government and the medical community will sabotage or block attempts to solve this problem. I recently had surgery that was delayed over a year and I had hell giving my own blood before the surgery. The medical establishment of course thought I was nuts.
Here are just a few of the things I ran into:
1. I had to have an order from the doctor doing the surgery to give my own blood in advance
2. I had to pay all cost associated with all procedures in cash in advance
3. My blood had to be tested and could be ruled unfit to give back to me to use
4. Once I gave the blood the surgery had to be done within 32 days or the blood wold go bad
5. However the window was even tighter than that – I had to build blood volume back up before surgery
6. Surgery schedules are backed up and the blood might go bad before I could be operated on
7. If the blood went sour because the process took too long go back to step one
Meanwhile your health declines you have more pain and sickness, longer recovery etc. All the while you are getting lectures from lackeys who have no clue what they are talking about. The best way I found to fight the those repeating the CDC bullshit was to learn more than they knew and ask them detailed questions about things they should know but did not.
That shut them up quick.
It was hell.
Now if you are in an accident and there is not time for all of that then you have a problem. It was when I was at the point of filing against them legally that the log jam broke. And yes I would have sued them. I don’t hire attorneys, the whole time I was working on the docs to file. Fun shit. You have to learn NOW how to defend yourself, most attorney would not touch something like this and if they did it would cost you a fortune you may not have. You cannot learn overnight and cannot do it while sick or injured. The time to think about this is now not later.
