*Judas’ betrayal
A great mystery from the Gospels is the question: why does Jesus allow Judas to be among his group of disciples when he knows that Judas is working on behalf of the darkside? Moreover, why does Jesus put him in charge of the money?
Jesus knows that he will be betrayed and handed over to the evil ones. He knows who will bretray him. The Gospels are blunt on this matter, saying it without actually saying it… ‘it is the one who dips bread with me.’
Jesus, it would seem, was practicing what we know in popular culture as the Godfather Rule: keep your friends close but your enemies closer.
Actually, what he was doing was following the will of the Creator, father above… who works in mysterious ways. The mission of Jesus is to follow the will of the Creator. And this comes with considerable trouble as Jesus realizes what the father has planned. It is an overwhelming task, more than anyone can bare, and Jesus asks that the cup be taken from him. In other words, the prayer… ‘please don’t pour this from above down into my cup.’
And yet Jesus keeps Judas in his loop, 11 good, one bad (on purpose).
We don’t just take on the good with the Lord, but the entire laundry cycle.

There’s no cause for alarm if one is solidly on the Lord’s side at this time. And this basically means that one…
FOLLOW THE GOLDEN RULE 94

Really simple. So simple, in fact, that even the non-religious can follow the rule with pious perfection.
A separation must occur.
This is the great problem that Jesus laments in the Gospels. He appreciates both the solidly good AND bad cuz it makes his job easier to decide.
It’s the people in the middle. The lukewarm folks… neither for nor against… not wolves but not exactly sheep either. This is what gives the Lord trouble. A great dividing line must be established.
Narrow is the path.. we believe. Wide is the destruction, and again this harkens back to the lament of the good one. Why must it be this way?
Here’s the thing… listen up now.. it doesn’t really matter at this point, in our time, in biblical history. Yes, it’s going to be biblical now (forces have already driven us in this direction for many generations).. do we live in another time? Should we connect with our fantasy doppelganger in the multiverse for advice?
