It’s about a defendant, retired NYPD officer, asking for a trial delay based on Tucker’s report of video footage.
A judge told that Defendant, they already have 34 minutes of video of them being in the Capitol for which they are charged with two felonies.
The judge was pretty much saying, you had access to video of your involvement, how is what Tucker has going to alter the felonies you are charged with in the 34 minutes you can already see of yourself in the building (in so many words).
Seems to me, all of them will sit in jail until they all get some sort of time served, by the time they go to trial, or if anything else, they get released on some ankle bracelet probation (still a sort of time served, because they are in jail waiting to be tried, and if not tried, they still sat in jail).
All these Republicans that voted for that law to detain terrorists indefinitely never thought they’d be labeled a terrorist and the law would apply to them.
What you want for others, you have to be prepared to have it used on you. Do unto others as you would have done unto you.
Their involvement some want to claim it’s because of their race as not of the other normally discriminated against races.
The law is the law, and it seems someone wants to say the Capitol was not open to the public in the way many were there, but there were thousands who were not arrested, so what makes these that were arrested stand out? Just asking.
That Judge needs to be disbarred for failure to protect free speech, Chuck Schummer and Mitch McConnel just destroyed any political prospect’s they are nobodies now.
