Allowing his presidential aspirations to derail his common sense, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is running attack ads vilifying former president Donald Trump, and questioning Trump’s allegiance to his fellow Republicans.
Make American Great Again — known colloquially as MAGA — the major Super PAC aligned with Trump, has wasted no time responding to DeSantis’ offensive ads, with one of its own titled, “Pudding Fingers.”
The “ONLY Trump approved Super PAC” has rebranded from “Make America Great Again Action” to “Make America Great Again, Again! Inc.”

On Real Clear Politics’ aggregated 2024 presidential election polling, when former President Trump is compared to other GOP candidates, he is the runaway winner in every category, trouncing former VP Mike Pence; Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis; former South Carolina Gov. and U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley; and other lesser known candidates. When compared to Joe Biden, Trump leaves Biden in the dust by exceptionally wide margins ranging from 21 to 39 percentage points.
Haley, who Pres. Trump appointed as U.N. ambassador, has recently veered into attack dog mode continually castigating Donald Trump, who provided unchallenged accomplishments, a flourishing economy for Americans and made three appointments to the U.S. Supreme Court and multitudes to the federal bench. Apparently she is so politically tone-deaf that she doesn’t realize that by attacking the popular former president she is spewing her rage at the millions of Americans who put him in the Oval Office. Those are the same Americans who’ll withhold their votes from her if she continues on this route.
