Nothing over 3 sextillion tons is any shape but spherical. This is obvious without writing a single equation or futzing with triangles. All planets rotate, and we can see all angles of each planet cover time. I have been using telescopes for 60 years.

IF the planet were flat, you could climb Mt. McKinley and see Mt. Everest with a 12x binocular. You can’t. You can’t, because the Earth, like every other celestial object grater than 3 sextillion tons, is ROUND.

Got any footage? How do you deal with the “atmospheric seeing” problem? Or atmospheric dispersion, distortion, absorption, reddening, and refraction? Temperature irregularities? What quality of view do you get with your telescope?
