My family have two clones.
Back in the 1980′s during the “test tube baby craze” my aunt and uncle participated in a scientific project called “the gift”. I believe, it was, 20/20 that did a story about it but it may have been 60 minutes. It was one of the two.
Out of all the couples who participated in the project, my aunt was the only one who succeeded and became pregnant with twins. A boy and a girl were born.
In those days, we didn’t realize that it was a cloning project. We thought, it was a project for people having trouble getting pregnant.
The girl and boy are now full grown adults living in Orange County California.
Physically, they are identical copies of my aunt and uncle and although both carry the same personalities as my aunt and uncle, they also, have their own personalities based on personal life experiences.
Some of the craziest things I’ve heard about clones is that they can’t grow physically and their hair doesn’t grow ect…. That’s really laughable.
Unless, they are robot clones, saying their body doesn’t grow or their hair doesn’t grow is just silly.
The clones of my aunt and uncle were born like any other baby. They grew up like any other child. They had a normal Southern California upbringing and they are now both thriving productive adults. Although they are exact copies of my aunt and uncle and the resemblance is remarkable very few realize that they are clones.
