I have faith in a greater good God, or source as Kim refers. Prime creator. I don’t put faith in those beings. We have many who use the word ‘source’ to replace God these days. It’s not just semantics, the reason they want to replace the word is that they want to redefine what God really means. They make themselves out to be gods in the process. They believe in an overall God, sure, but they reduce this entity to something like a water well. A source for vitality but not the controlling factor for their lives.
Now when it comes to the dead that’s a different story. The dead we know. The dead we can define. We can define certain characteristics about the dead. The dead have no influence on our world today.
Nevertheless, we are trapped in the world of the dead. The world itself is dead and though creatures move about they are only the walking dead. The animate dead are removed by a wide scale of degrees from the inanimate dead who are all the same — They do nothing.
Those of sound mind and body who believe in the guidance of the bible understand that certain cycles and events must transpire in order to move us from the world of the dead to the world of the living. The advice of Jesus was to follow him and let the dead bury their own.

The Torah says that the dead are destined to be revived at the end in the bodies they once lived.
This brings up a curious question: why doesn’t God just give the souls new bodies?
The reason it is done this way is so that the soul can not say that it was another who performed the deeds.
As it turns out, even in the afterlife, we are tied to our carnal bodies and the actions and consequences emanating from our bodies. This is why we are destined to be revived with all of our flaws. Some bodies are destined to awaken to glory while others will awaken to their eternal shame.
It’s important to note that the God of the bible treats everyone in his kingdom the same. The greatest in the kingdom is equal to the lowest. The first to come is equal to the last to arrive. But for the one who does not seek, maybe they don’t even believe there’s anything to seek, for that person there can be no reward.
Nobody can enter kingdom of God with the thinking that they are already a god, or forbid it – equal to the BIG GUY himself. This is not possible. Everyone falls short and deserves to fry for their flaws. If it were left up to the individual soul none would make it.
