He mixes up “revolution” with “civil war”.

After the abdication of Tzar Nicholas II, there was a Temporary Government, the Constituent Assembly, and the first free national election was scheduled.
The Bolsheviks arrested all the representatives and dissolved the Assembly right before the election results were counted/published, and banned all the other parties: “The dissolution of the Constituent Assembly was also approved by the Left Socialist Revolutionaries and anarchists, both groups were in favor of a more extensive democracy” .
And only then the Civil Was started.
And after they completely took power, the Bolsheviks exterminated all those “Left Socialist Revolutionaries and anarchists”.
AFTER the Civil War.
