Cat Saves Boy from Dog Attack
Wow! Warning, this video is a bit graphic. But amazing. A little boy was riding his bike in his driveway and was suddenly attacked by an unleashed and unattended dog. What happens next is truly amazing.
Domestic cats aren’t known for their loyalty or protective instincts. Descended from solitary wild cats, it’s just not in their DNA the way it is for dogs that are natually social and live in family groups. So what this cat did is pretty remarkable.
Jezebel reports:
”Harrowing security camera footage taken outside of the boy and cat’s home show the boy playing on his bicycle in the driveway before being attacked, unprovoked, by the neighbor’s unleashed dog. But before the dog can drag the boy down the driveway, in comes family cat Tara like a bolt of righteous fucking lightning to attack the dog and chase it away. Shortly thereafter, the boy’s mother runs into the shot and picks him up. According to local Bakersfield news, the boy suffered minor injuries that required some stitches on his leg and the dog is now under observation.”

Looked like the mother ran inside before the child and without picking him up first.
Blue is right, but most people panic. Calling nine one one no doubt. On the other hand my Toby-cat would have done the same thing. Major Maine Coon and a peace maker too. Bless his soul. You people are blessed to know the wonderment of true animal connectedness.
The boy was AUTISTIC. Animals pick up on electric feed back is well known. Apparently the boy triggered an electrical signal to the cat previously that made the cat “guarded” about the boy due to his autism.
When the electric signal altered it activated an unknown signal-link to the animal.
Our cat did something similar. My daughters dog attacked one of our dogs and our cat came flying in and viciously went after her dog….Quite amazing for a domestic cat….
