Pit Bull Saved Deaf Teen From Deadly Fire

A Pit Bull is being hailed a hero after he saved a deaf teen from a deadly house fire. The two-year-old pup named Ace alerted his 13-year-old owner by licking his face until the boy awakened. Nick Lamb was home alone with his dog when the blaze broke out. The dog was smart enough to lick the boy’s face instead of barking because the teen could not hear without his hearing aids.

The boy said he was sleeping when his dog Ace began licking him in the face. He kept telling the pup to stop but Ace kept licking. Nick thought Ace was either hungry or wanted to go outside. When he finally woke up he realized the house was on fire. Nick said he grabbed one of his hearing aid implants, covered his mouth and nose with a wet t-shirt before he and Ace ran out of the back door.
