I think I’m starting a series here. It has been a while since I painted a still life and it was about time, a change of pace and also a different audience. I’ve always known that at the Celebration of Fine Art I had two different audiences with my still lifes and my landscapes. They really haven’t crossed over a lot. Funny thing is too, is that I’ve noticed my still lifes sell to more midwesterners than any other region.

Today I had a great day. Once of my best friends, Deb Groesser, came to town. She came to the Celebration and we had a loooooong lunch together. Then we met up again at dinner time in Scottsdale. Lots to talk about, catch up on and enjoy great company. We’ll be seeing each other and getting together again in April when we go to the Plein Air Convention together and have our gallery show together in Carmel at Mountainsong Gallery immediately after the convention.
