Jewelry of the Tarot

Playing cards were invented in the 9th century in ancient China. They were invented before tarot cards and the “Trump” cards became the archetype for many of the Major Arcana in tarot. The trump cards are the royal ones, which represents different subconscious energies which play out in the government and other overpowering forces in our lives.

The artwork for playing cards is inspired by different symbols, which organize the cards into a hierarchy of importance. The common themes are hearts, diamonds, clubs and pages (which can be compared to the categories in tarot as well- hearts represent cups, spades are swords, diamonds are pentacles and clubs stand for wands) These are all encompassed into the elemental themes- that is the main elements which make up the spiritual body. (Earth, air, fire, water & Spirit).

If you notice the images of the royal cards in a deck- you will see that they are usually decorated very elegantly and neatly. They wear their jewelry of crowns, ornate clothing and highly powerful weapons. The low class cards have less ornamentation and are therefore worth less in a matter of divine & Earthly classification. The material of Jewelry itself is sometimes even woven into the threads of the cards themselves, by using rich metal colors.

Of course, you will find that the decks we see in modern times are no longer of an Asian design. In fact, around the fourteenth century is when they became widespread in France, causing a European adaptation of perception in common daily themes of power and grace in a more traditional society for the class of people the cards were made to be enjoyed by.

In essence, Jewelry of the tarot is an important energy projected into the light coded messages we channel from a place of higher wisdom and devotion for healing. The time and essence it takes to receive is instant in exchange for material inception of a physical subject in the place of a spiritual plane., from which we generate our karma, wisdom & enlightenment.

The cards are known to open up portals- just like other occult games do, such as quija boards and die. Could it be that this is the energy of the subconscious- the games we play, cemented into golden light and jewelry of the soul- the shadow’s decorations and declarations of love. After all, there are many legends of the holy jewelry- which is also available in the spiritual & dream worlds as well.

For example, there are concepts of the human soul where the metal and stones we use and wear create an energy which purifies and shapes a space inadvertently made in our mind- which should be dealt with and cleared out in order to create an openness and oneness with ourselves. We may dream about jewelry to tell us more about our head space on our emotional journeys as well and most jewelry represents time honored achievements, celebrations and events- which allow us to feel completeness.

Everywhere, around, within and outside of us we encounter mirrors. The mirrors are the projections and projectors of our incompleteness. They are like the cards, who mirror the universe in our spiritual experience as human beings, which we all generally share as a concept together- despite it being broken into different life spans for our separations of our light bodies.

Jewelry is also separated into varying degrees of rareness and success as well- subconscious energy which protects us from the infallible sense of doubt of self & soul.

In sense, jewelry in games represents the dynamics between the mortal realms and the immortal ones. The separation of the higher class from the lower is definitely seen as a spiritual indifference and in solitude of elite perception and control. However, because mirrors are projected in opposition of our true selves, in vanity- it is sometimes accepted that being “rich” in this realm will make you “poor” in the spiritual one as, in fact some do chase a love for life in the acquisition of objects, titles and deeds, but, if it is simply for the fact of the power, the money or the arrogant control- than it is superficial. I believe if one can be blessed both ways on Earth- if it was acquired in the love for what lies beneath the purpose and passion and a true love for the spiritual aspect of your skill mixed with luck!

I think this because of the qualities which jewelry has been represented by in folklore and mythology- the tales of desire, pure and impure and the adventures of those who wish to achieve them and display what they meant without having to speak a word, because of the magic it already carried in it’s own spell. That which was deserved, undeserved or granted by the Gods and that which isn’t. It is a complex theory I have and the reason which separates this is the division of time and choices,-which are marked by the reality of age in our stones and metals as well, that which was lasting and that which isn’t.

It is where you spend your moments- is it in darkness, light or balanced as well as our planets?

The heavenly bodies are the jewels of the sky. The moon wears a dark cloak (the night) which has glowing and shining jewels (even angels have been referred to the stars, such as Lucifer- the shining one.) She is proud of her jewelry and it is eternal, immortal and we cast wishes on it, across our emotional oceans and wish that our desires are truth and not just lust because truth is eternal- like a story, even an angel fallen from God, who was the shiniest jewel of all times…

and lives forever too.
