Unxplainable, good name choice. Trying to explain away the sixth commandment as to include killing animals won’t get you far. A close look at The Inspired Word sheds light on this matter.
The Interlinear has it… trə·ṣāḥ lō …”thou shall not kill”. Strong’s has it… ratsach… “to murder, slay. Nowhere in the Bible’s 47 uses of these terms is the concept anything other than people killing people. Deut 5:17 and Exodus 20:13 for example.

First- Compare Gen 9:3 to Gospel Of Holy 12- Lection 51 Verses 12-14

What should we make of the list (in Gen) that tells which animals are to be eaten and which are “unclean”?
Genesis first tells us Men are to be VEGAN..
It tells us GOD saved animal species from the flood.
Then God goes ahead and commands us to kill the animals he delivered
Then it says Men can be Meat Eaters
Then prophets came denouncing sacrifice
The prophets were killed.

They were complaining about what God gave them to eat, so He gave them what they complained for and then He punished them for their ingratitude and disrespect, NOT for eating meat. It means involving yourself in the desires of the world, it’s politics, it’s idolatry, it’s beliefs, and not being involved with what God the Almighty admonished us to involve ourselves with.
