The Four States of War

How is that Russians can support the maurader and slaughter in Ukraine? Montheism, and further downstream, monothematicism.

Understanding political, social and spiritual thinking and being is difficult and can be completely confusing what with the intermingling and flipping of legality and morality, and institutions and individuals. However there are essentially four states of thinking and being relative to spiritual and political subject matter. Understanding these enables understanding of many systems.

Just as the synonym suggests, state, is the same whether applied to inner mind state or outer nation state.

One state is of peace; it promotes peace and only prepares for peace.

The second state is of war; it promotes war and only prepares for war.

The third state is at war; it promotes war, and yet prepares for peace.

And the last state is at peace; it promotes peace and yet is ready for self-defense if the need arises.

One can imagine being in these states, either internally and externally, and realize which is the more balanced and prepared state. The concept of the four states can be applied to both internal and external states as well as to both individuals and institutions. This formation of the duality of polarity – which I explore in depth in my book The Matrix of Four The Philosophy of The Duality of Polarity – as applied to the notions of war and peace, and promotion and prohibition, is a more than a metaphor for our thinking and being.

Individuals, as well as institutions, are capable of operating in either of these manners. Individuals are trained to keep out of politics, but spiritual individuals must embrace politics and participate at least by being informed otherwise institutions will continue to be involved in politics, institutions of religion and institutions of religious-like institutionalization will continue to embrace politics.

Free speech enables free thinking. Free speech is not for insult though it falls under the appropriation. Free speech is for free thinking which is for raising consciousness. The First Amendment is all about free speech and even the freedom to ask the ultimate and most provocative questions that in certain monotheistic circles is reason for being lashed; in what mode is God? This is the pinnacle question at the bottom of every bowl of questions. Questions are the reason for free speech, being able to question enables us all, including our understanding of God.
