Death Is a Part of Life

Recently I met someone who has truly started down the journey of enlightenment, and we have had some very awesome conversations. Recently they lost a close friend in a vehicle accident, and they were really questioning how to handle death. Having someone that you have a good relationship with suddenly die can really create chaos in your mind and cause someone to question their reality. Great amounts of doubt and questions begin to surround your thoughts, especially when the person they lost was such a good person.

Why does God allow good people to die early in life?

Why is it that some of the worst people get to live long lives?

What is the purpose of life if it can simply be taken away in an instant?

What is the point of planning and evolving as human beings if we are only going to die in the end?

Anger, sadness, and doubt are very real when someone you know and love dies, and you should allow yourself to go and grow through these emotions. The hard part is to keep these emotions from becoming a life sentence – after all, having a life is a very big blessing and we should strive to remember that we must continue our path, even when others are no longer walking with us; we are all on our own journey, no matter who we relate to. Life and death are not disconnected from each other, just like the problem and solution are not separate; through death, new growth occurs, and we can witness this through the process of natural laws. We generally accept that trees will have all their leaves die off each fall, only to come back again bigger and stronger in the spring – why is that any different for us as souls having a life experience? No matter where you look, death and life are connected and it is my belief that we go on after each life experience; however, none of us will really know until we have the experience of death.

As a Medium, I can connect with those who are not among the living, and I was very willing to do this for my new friend. I simply asked for a recent picture and the name of the person who recently died and sat in meditation on this bit of information. This experience was a bit different for me and I wanted to share it with others. I will call this person who passed on by “Jeff”, which is not their real name. When I first connected to Jeff there seemed to be what I would call static. The only thing that was shared with me was one of a gold-colored shimmering light that seemed to be shaped like some kind of symbol with a large arch shape. I could not truly understand what this message meant and decided to connect later and see if the connection would become better.

Prior to connecting again, I was pursuing through social media and stumbled upon a post that just made me stop everything I was doing and thinking. There was the exact visual that I was being shown by Jeff! And what made it so extraordinary for me was the message included with the picture. The post is supposed to be a more direct translation of the “Lord’s Prayer” without the many translations in between that have given us the one we commonly have accepted. Within this translation was the most accurate information needed to share with my new friend and mirrors the conversations that we have already had in relation to Jeff’s death! The following picture is from the post – although it portrays some religious aspects, I believe the idea of this picture was to relate it to my meditation so that I would read the message included in the post. It was the golden halo with the large arch that I was being shown by Jeff. It is followed by the message in the post.

“The Lord’s Prayer…translated from Aramaic directly into English. Rather than from Aramaic to Greek to Latin to English (which most of us are used to from the King James version:

O cosmic Birther of all radiance and vibration,

soften the ground of our being and carve out a space within us where your Presence can abide.

Fill us with your creativity so that we may be empowered to bear the fruit of your mission.

Let each of our actions bear fruit in accordance with our desire.

Endow us with the wisdom to produce and share what each being needs to grow and flourish.

Untie the tangled threads of destiny that bind us, as we release others from the entanglement of past mistakes.

Do not let us be seduced by that which would divert us from our true purpose but illuminate the opportunities of the present moment.

For you are the ground and the fruitful vision, the birth, power, and fulfillment, as all is gathered and made whole once again.

And So It Is!”

I have seen this translation previously; however, it means much more when reviewing my own life in light of our eventual transition. The phrase within this translation that really stands out to me is “Do not let us be seduced by that which would divert us from our true purpose but illuminate the opportunities of the present moment.”

This makes absolute sense when it comes to being alive as a human being in this reality. The present moment is all we really have, the past no longer exists for us, and the future is not here yet. We truly only have the opportunities within each moment to fulfill our purpose, our desires, and our goals. I don’t think there are any issues with having goals, dreams, and aspirations that we are working towards; I think the secret is to not get caught up in the outcomes of your efforts.

As we have already noted, death can knock on our door at any time, so how are you living now?!

How are you living each moment?

How are you impacting others in your life?

What are you doing to evolve each moment?

What are you doing to help others evolve?

Why aren’t you striving to live your dreams?

Why play it safe if we are all going to die in the end anyway?

Why aren’t you doing the things you love to do?

Remember that tomorrow is not promised to anyone, so if you have things to do, then there is no better time to do them than now. I encourage you all to live fully in each moment, each minute, hour, day, week, month, and year. Life is truly a balance, for we don’t want to give everything away and not have anything to survive on, yet we do not want to go to our grave holding on to everything. Each moment of our life is a challenge and an opportunity for growth – let’s not waste any of our time – we cannot get time back.
