• Red giant: stars that run out of hydrogen to burn stop fusion and expands due to one last hydrogen shell igniting
• White dwarf: after burning its last supply of hydrogen and other elements, the star collapses on itself and eventually fizzles out
• Super giants: a super giant burns through its hydrogen fast and dies out quickly
