Create More Than You Consume

It’s important to create art for creative expression rather than profit. Although it could be a dream of yours, don’t put a price on your creation as it could hinder the process. Plus, you’ll end up creating art that may not feel authentic as you’re tailoring it towards someone else. 

Create a Body of Work

You may want to impress by creating a floor-to-ceiling painting only to realize that it’s more challenging than you thought. Instead, create a small body of work and experiment with an array of styles.

Do what feels natural to you and once you’ve done 10, you can evaluate them and see your voice emerging. Be patient and trust the process because your voice needs time to develop naturally. Never force anything otherwise you’ll create inauthentic art.
