1. The Dragon

This one reminds us more of Gandalf than of Smaug, but either way, it’s one of the coolest vape tricks for beginners.

To recreate it, simply take a long drag but don’t inhale it into your lungs. Blow the vape out through your nose and the corners of your mouth, creating the impression of a dragon unleashing a smoky breath.

2. The Ghost

If you snap inhale a vape, did it ever exist? The left-behind ghost says “yes” and that’s the goal of this trick.

To create a little Caspar of your own, take a drag from your favorite e-cig or disposable vape. Hold the vapor for a moment in your mouth, then release it in a quick burst. Don’t put too much force behind this part. Then quickly suck the vapor back in. The vapor will leave a ghost behind.

3. The Tornado

The Tornado is more on the X-Men side of vape superpowers, and it’s exactly what it sounds like. This requires a little dexterity and some practice.

First, get comfortable slowly exhaling vapor until you can get it to “sit” on a flat surface for a few seconds. Then, once you’re used to that part, practice whipping the vapor up with a circular motion of your hand to create a mini tornado.

Pro tip: make sure there aren’t any other breezes nearby or you might find your superpower falls flat. 

4. The French Inhale

The French Inhale is the strangest trick on this list and can be tough to get right. Think of it like an Australian waterfall—upside down.

For this, take a drag then open your mouth to let the vapor spill out. Don’t breathe it, just push it out with your tongue. It should roll out, at which point you can breathe in to direct the vapor up through your nose.

5. The Smoke Ring

Taking us full circle (pun intended) back to Gandalf, we’re looking at the vape version of the iconic smoke ring.

This is probably the trickiest trick on this list and requires a little oral dexterity. You need to form your lips into (guess what) an “O” shape as you gently push the vapor out of your mouth. Keep your tongue flat and apply the gentlest bit of force from your throat — like the weakest cough you’ve ever done. With a little practice, you’ll form a perfect “O”.
