JOHN CORZINE'S SON DEAD AT 32 OF SUICIDE. WHY IS IT NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT IT?
Jeffrey Corzine, the 31 year old son of Jon Corzine was found dead in Mexico City of a suicide. Jon Corzine the ex Governor of New Jersey and Chief operating officer of M.F. Global an investment firm had ordered that $200,000,00 be transferred from a customer fund account ( other peoples money ). The money was transferred to J P Morgan to cover an overdraft in a brokerage account according to a memo written by congressional investigators.
According to Edith O’Brien, a treasurer for M. F. Global, said in an e mail that the transfer was per JC’s request and that e mail was dated Oct. 28. Three days before the company collapsed.
Corzine, 65, in testimony in front of the House panel in December, said he did not order any improper transfer of customer funds. Corzine also testified that he never intended a misuse of customer funds at MF Global, and that he doesn’t know where client funds went.
“I never gave any instruction to misuse customer funds, I never intended anyone at MF Global to misuse customer funds and I don’t believe that anything I said could reasonably have been interpreted as an instruction to misuse customer funds,” Corzine told lawmakers in December.
In his statement, Goldberg said Corzine did not specify which funds should be used to replenish the J. P Morgan account.
“He never directed Ms. O’Brien or anyone else regarding which account should be used to cure the overdrafts, and he never directed that customer funds should be used for that purpose,” Goldberg said. “Nor was he informed that customer funds had been used for that purpose.”
Could this be the reason for a suicide? It makes you think.
Steven Goldberg, a spokesman for the devastated Jon Corzine, confirmed in a statement “The sad fact is that Jeffery Corzine had been suffering from severe depression for several years and recently had been receiving treatment for what is a very painful and debilitating physical and mental ailment”
“One Tuesday morning, he succumbed to his disease and made the tragic decision to take his own life”
Jeffrey Corzine had a history of substance abuse problems and had been in and out of rehab sources said.
But he was living in California and working as a counselor, and appeared to turn his life around.
He had been living in a $2.8 million beachfront home in Malibu that his mom, who is remarried, helped him buy.
I am not suggesting that it was not a suicide. But I do have to say that it was not the first thing that came to my mind. As I started to do research and found out the details of his fathers dealings it was one of those things you say, huh is that the whole truth. It is an awful tragedy when anyone that age dies. What I am saying is that lot’s of very important people lost lot’s of money. And Jeffrey who makes what $35,000 as a drug counselor lives in a $2.8 million dollar house and is carrying a $777,000 a month mortgage at 0% interest if he got that. I am sure that did not sit well with some investors. So you tell me.
This reminded me of a man that had a Real Estate office next to my Insurance Agency. He beat the wrong people out of some money. And not even close to what Jon Corzine stole. They found his daughter tied to a tree dead.
It’s awful but if you want to get back at someone it is by far the worst thing you can do to kill the child/
You tell me to many bankers and associates have died as of late. Man dies, shoots self with nail gun?
Tell me what you think.
