Reports of Bigfoot in the Houston area have been popping up for years.
According to KHOU in October 2012, , When you think of Bigfoot, you may think of the northwest. But, in recent years, there have been reported sightings in East Texas, and even near Dallas. Now, a Dallas businessman said he has picture proof after snapping a picture in Shelby County. See the video here
According to Mark McClurkan and Brian Brown and The Texas Bigfoot Research Conservancy (TBRC) has recently concluded a long-term continuous field research study called “Operation Persistence.” The goal of the operation was to observe and document the local wood ape population. Spanning ninety days and involving more than thirty TBRC investigators, the operation took place in an area located in the Ouachita Mountains in the region near the Arkansas-Oklahoma border. Members of the TBRC have operated in this area for more than a decade, including during 2011’s long-term research study, Operation Endurance.
In 2011, the Houston Chronicle ran an article on Bigfoot stating There are many names for the hairy humanlike creature that walks on two legs and has eluded searchers for decades. Even Animal Planet’s Finding Bigfoot series has been unable to find the ape-man typically described as being 6 to 8 feet tall, with a massive, bulky build.

If you are referring to the lady in the story and you are disparaging her based on her southern accent, then I contend that you are the stupid person in this situation. If you base your ideas about intelligence on an accent then you can’t be too intelligent yourself. Also, I live in the same area as this lady and she sounds very nice to me. I’m having a hard time understanding the personal attacks on people instead of commenting on the story. Also, Gabe, why don’t you show a video of yourself and then we can judge how you sound. Blurry Bigfoot photos. You gotta love it. Reminds me of all those blurry UFO photos. Which there is one word for it, HHHHHOOOOOOOAAAAAAAXXXXXX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could use a disposable camera which has no optical zoom and get a better photo of those so called Bigfoots than people with there 3x-36x cameras.

The second biggest fallacy in this story is that there is any such thing as Bigfoot. The BIGGEST fallacy is that this is the Houston area. Port Arthur is only in the Houston area the same way that Philadelphia is in the New York City area. Philly is closer to NYC than Port Arthur is to Houston.
