The operator was astonished to see the jelly-like creature roll its fleshy blob near the lens.

Wow! Sure looks like a whale to me…
Looks like a whale? Are you retarded?
LMAO..
Any reports on how big it was? That thing looks crazy weird…
Well, I didn’t watch the video, I did look at the picture, and it looks like it could be the head of a Beluga Whale, or even a white…wait for it…Sperm Whale, which dive to a couple of thousand feet to hunt Giant Squid…
No I am not retarded, in fact my IQ is in the top one percent. Reply to that as you wish, it is true, nothing you say will make it untrue.
Now that I did skip through the video, I do not know what to make of it, it does not give me the impression that it is a jellyfish, per se, but it is rather blob-ish…
Next time you feel like asking me that second question, please do that in person, so that I may give you the comprehensive explanation, right upside your head…
“Wow! Sure looks like a whale to me…”
Here’s an idiot-proof question for you to ponder with you high IQ:
Why give your 2 cents if you didn’t even BOTHER TO LOOK at the video?
ROFL
Piece of plastic with some algae and crap growing on it.
I’d be inclined to believe you if there were ANY jagged or torn spots visible.
Plastic doesn’t “swim” or move with intent and directional changes. You didn’t watch the video completely, did ya? It’s obvious this thing moving around the column with purpose and control
Looks like a piece of junk floating around
A Lurker Above, except it’s underwater , not in a cave…..
looks like another oil leak!
I have to argue with the plastic theory. This is a deep sea rig and if a large sheet of plastic ended up that far down, the pressure down there would squeeze it into a ball, not a billowy blob with its own locomotion.
actually, any air trapped in plastic would EXPAND the deeper it went.
ANY air trapped in plastic would’t allow said plastic to sink
You are obviously no Scuba diver or you would know that just the opposite happens the deeper you go the more pressure ,an egg would implode, not explode.
Fiil a balloon with air at 100 feet and let it come up it will explode and vice versa.
Have you not learned any thing in School,or was it just a slip of the finger on the Keyboard?
That’s a small piece of Synthia.
It looks like a giant jellyfish feeding on the plankton attracted to the robot’s light. There is another clip out there of something like this in the Gulf of Mexico. I’m not finding it now, but that creature was dark in color with a strange, hexagon pattern in its skin.
I saw the clip of the one in the Gulf. Very similar creature.
Looks like a type of jelly fish.
To me it looks like jelly fish a new or never discovered species
If Obama had a sea serpent it would look like this.
Is that some undiscovered type of jelly fish? Sure had some ugly, undefinable parts to it. I never saw any eyes, mouth or teeth. So under what department does this mystery fall under?
It is swimming… Synthia virus at play.
If this was a piece of floating garbage, it would not have stayed around that long. The ocean has currents…
Looks like a living creature to me.
As a diver you must swim right up to it and wear it as a blanket as it sucks your internal guts dry…….
baaah! a convertible 2at.
it’s amazing what you can learn from reading youtube comments on clips like this:
NYC Mopeds 21 hours ago
I love you ADGUKNEWS, but this is no mystery. This is stygiomedusa gigantea. A rare giant Jellyfish. This video is pretty old, and this was in the Gulf of Mexico. Do some fact checking before you post something under a misleading title…
Fukashima jelly fish!
Ananaki condom or a weather balloon.
old old old
huge jelly fish
Whale placenta.
its actually called “deepstaria enigmatica” and its a kind of jellyfish that usually lives in arctic seas, but as also been seen in deep water, 800-2000mtrs, off the coast of the u.k.
I was going to say it looks like a Underwater Snuggie. But then I saw a picture of a blanket octopus which, oddly enough, looks exactly like an underwater Snuggie.
its a blob of OIL
