Basement Monster? Strange Skeleton Discovered By Cable Installer Sparks Speculation

Just in time for Halloween. 

A few months ago a cable installer working to run cable under a house made a gristly discovery that reportedly unnerved the homeowner.

Here is a couple of photos taken by redditor  JellyMelly of what appears to be some type of unidentified creature. Here is a link to the original posting on Reddit by JellyMelly.

Readers of the original posting has speculated that the creature could be a dog, a cat, a lizard, a sea serpent. Some of the more imaginative think it may be a demon or the legendary chupacabra.

One Reddit user says “Anyone else notice the leash still attached around its poor neck? Therefore, dog. The prosecution rests.” While another responds “I used to be a contractor. It looks like you found grandma’s cat. We used to find all manor of dead creepy sh*t under houses.”

      Looks like a large dog skeleton to me. Not a monster.

      100% certain its a Dog (http://vanat.cvm.umn.edu/run/lrg%20images/DogSkeleton.jpg), the Metatasus is the right size and a bears tibia is far smaller and they do not have tails.

      I would need to see someone standing next to it but it looks like the skeletonized body of a very large house dog that the family probably burried at one point. The diagram of the image is derived only from the video which needs to be shot in better quality because this wasn’t very good.
