I once lived in the City of Bristol [UK] and after a night out with some mates, i walked home to where i live.
There was a graveyard on the walk home that was a short cut, so i took that route. As i was walking through the graveyard i could hear a tapping sound in the distance. I did not take too much notice of it, but as i walked further into the graveyard the tapping got louder and louder.
As i was nearing the end of the graveyard short cut, i eventually came across the source of the loud tapping sound.
To my shock, i saw an old man working at a tombstone with a hammer and another metal object. I said to the chap – ‘alright mate, what are you doing’, he turned around, grinned and then replied – ‘the buggers have spelt my name wrong’. He chuckled again and went back to what he was doing….
Interesting story!
Nice anecdote! Creepy AND funny! Cheers.
Interesting spots to visit but if you are looking for something a little scarier, consider the Dulce Base in New Mexico!
OK, it may not be safe, you may get eaten by an alien reptilian, that probably still inhabit the deep caverns underneath, but your friends will be impressed when they get the postcards!
Did you realize that alien/human genetic experiments by our government with reptilian aliens may have been going on for years? Find out what the aliens are doing with what they take from cattle mutilations in the underground Dulce Base – this is not science fiction, this is so much worse!

there is actually 21 places if you count before its news
What about Obamas office?
King of Shambhala’s mind
Fascinating video. One small correction is that the Winchester Mystery House is located in San Jose, CA. I visited there many years ago and the place is definitely strange. Sarah Winchester, widow of William Winchester, famed rifle manufacturer, built the house and kept adding on to keep the spirits of the dead at bay.
I’m disappointed that truck stop showers did not make the list.
Creep indeed. Here are a couple of more places that are even creepier.
