The dude in the chair that looks like “Lerch” from the Addam’s Family is crazy looking, but what about the kids in the disney masks holding hands as a car burns in the background? LOL, now that’s creepy. Cool pics. Thanks for sharing.

      • SneakySneaker7

Wiki: “Joseph Bloor” if you want to learn more about your “Lerch”…

        • The Real Deal

          No thanks.

The pictures with dudes dressed up in what looks like black klansmen robes and regalia are actually the Nazarenos, Roman Catholics from areas around southern Europe and locations with strong connections there. They regularly are out during Holy Week.

The 6th from Bottom picture, the one with the Lurch looking fella is most likely late 19th century early 20th century. It looks very much like the Victorian fad of post mortem photography. Maybe also the two children in the rocking chair in the field and the one just before lurch.

Here’s a link to some really creepy examples for you amusement/edification. :)

A better article would attempt to explain some of what you see here. Anyone can find weird pictures on the internet, try finding some back story next time so the reader doesn’t have to.

The picture with the horses heads sticking up from the frozen river is actually from a move called ‘My Winnipeg’. It’s not a real picture, it was made for a scene in the movie.

      • dangle5
