World’s 12 Most Mysterious Photos That Can Never Be Explained

12. The mysterious survivor 

This picture taken in 9/11 during the attack shows a woman who is probably waving and calling for help. It is however still unexplained how she survived the initial attack. What happened to her afterwards is still unknown.
 

11. The lightened up sky
The coastal areas in the city of Los Angeles were reported to be suddenly covered by ‘something’ in the sky on February 25th, 1942. The silvery sky was claimed by some to be extraterrestrial object whereas some think it might have been an attempt at Japanese raid. The story remains a mystery.  

10. Creepy thumb
A group of kids took a photo together, but the finished product that they saw was a horror! The kid who is behind the others can be spotted with a mysterious thumb beside him which does not belong to any kid in the photo. The photographer claims to have no explanation for the ghostly thumb!    

9. The camera that never existed
This person at the South forks bridge in Canada was seen holding a camera that left many people in awe. The camera could not have existed in 1941, the year in which the photo is claimed to have been captured. A camera this advanced did not exist in that period.
 

8. Rare lights of Hassdalen
These strange lights were captured by a bunch of students and teachers. It is known that on rare occasions, in 2007 these lights appeared in the Hessdalen valley situated in Norway. It is still unclear as to what these images depicted.
   

7. Freddy spotted!
This photo brought horror to the people. When the crew took a group photo, they were shocked to see Freddy Jackson in it. Freddy had way long been killed in an accident. The photo was taken after his death. Maybe the spirit just could not miss the group picture!
 

6. Castles on the moon?
Taken by Apollo 17, this photo shows the moon having a structure like that of a pyramid. The photo is said to have slipped from NASA and was never explained by the organization. So is there any moon secret that NASA holds to itself only? The question is still unanswered.
   

5. The haunted house
The coppers took this photo when they moved to their new house. When developed a haunting image was seen hanging upside down from the ceiling. Might have been an unresting soul trying to creep out the Coppers. However nothing supernatural was seen in the house after the incident and the investigation ended without a solid explanation.
 

      4.  An ape or a lie?
In 2000, a women emailed a photo to the sheriff’s department in Florida claiming that she had seen an ape in her backyard. The skunk ape was strange to be found, and the women who sent the photographs remained unknown. However, some officials deny any possibility of an ape being discovered by the women and dismiss her claims by saying it was just a black bear.
 

3. Martian blueberries
In 2004, a team exploring Mars took a photo that depicted some microscopic formations that were blueberry-shaped growing on the Martian soil. Even bigger ones were found in 2012. The pictures were interpreted to be a sign of the presence of water on Mars however scientists are still not sure.
 

2. Monster in the sea
This unidentified creature was captured by Robert Le Serrec and his wife in 1924. The couple reported that the creature came charging in their direction when they tried to go nearer. It was spotted on the coast of Stonehaven Bay situated in Queensland.
 

1.   The two reflections
James Courtney and Michael Meehan’s reflections could be sighted off the surface of the sea even long after their burial in the sea. Both of them died when they take over by gas fumes near S.S Watertown. The strange reflections were captured by the people of the area and they definitely sent creeps down the people’s spine!
