Both the Bible and Quran say the Earth is Flat and Stationary

Both the Bible and Quran say that the earth is Flat, Stationary, and is covered by a Dome.  The following scriptures make this clear.  There are many more scriptures in both books that expand on this, I have just selected a few to show that I am not only taking ONE scripture and basing it on this.  This is what people have believed for thousands of years.   Only about 500 years ago since Copernicus was this “new theory” of a heliocentric solar system presented.  It was rejected for many years, but with constant aggressive promotion finally made it’s way into the scientific community.  Since then it has been taught as fact (even though scientists agree it is just theory) in every school and media.  But now, people are waking up and realizing that the math simply Does Not Work.   We cannot be living on a round spinning globe because that would be like living on a moving treadmill.   Do your research, and judge for yourself what is true and what is not.  

He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved.  Psalm 104:5  

The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved;  Psalm 96:10

Tremble before him, all the earth!  The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.  1 Chronicles 16:30

..the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.  psalm 93:1

These scriptures from the Bible make it clear that the earth DOES NOT MOVE.  If it does not move, then it cannot turn on it’s axis, tilt on it’s axis, or travel around the sun.  

What shape is the earth?   According to science it’s a round spinning globe.  Even though they have also said it’s pear shaped and also oval.  Here’s what the Bible says.

..who by his understanding made the heavens…who spread out the earth upon the waters…   psalm 136:5-6 

Thus says God, the LORD, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and what comes from it, Isaiah 42:5

I am the Lord, the Maker of all things, who stretches out the heavens, who spreads out the earth by myself. Isaiah 44:24

From these scriptures we see that God “spread out the earth”.  God did not make a globe earth and then put water on it, he spread out the land upon the water.  He did not place water upon a globe earth.  That would be impossible because the earth does not move.  By spreading out the earth, he made it relatively flat.  Not oval or round or pear shaped.  When you spread something out like a blanket it is relatively flat. This is how God made it. 

The Quran teaches that Allah made the earth a bed or a carpet which he spread out and placed on it mountains as pegs to keep it stable. Allah also made the heavens as a roof, a dome to cover the earth. The Quran further presumes that the earth is stationary, remaining in a fixed position, not moving.

Q. 2:22  WHO made the earth a bed for you, and the heaven a roof..    Q. 13:3 And He it is who hath outstretched the earth, and placed on it the firm mountains, and rivers

Q. 15:19 And the earth have WE spread out, and set therein firm mountains and cause every thing to grow therein in proper proportion

Q. 20:53  Who has laid out the earth as a carpet for you and has traced highways on it for you,

Q. 27:61 Is not He (better than your gods) Who has made the earth as A FIXED ABODE, and has placed rivers in its midst, and has placed firm mountains therein… (meaning, STABLE AND STATIONARY, SO THAT IT DOES NOT MOVE OR CONVULSE, because if it were to do so, it would not be a good place for people to live on. But by His grace and mercy, He has made it smooth and calm, and it is not shaken or moved… Quran Commentary)

From these holy books it is clear that both teach that the earth is Flat and Stationary, and Does Not Move.   Therefore, you can either believe the science fiction story of the Big Bang, the Solar System Model, Evolution, and the rest of it, or you can believe the Holy Books that both agree that God created the heavens and the earth which is very different from what science has taught us.
