FLU OUTBREAK hits UNITED STATES in 2018 very roughly
Well it seems like everyone has had the worst winter because of the huge FLU OUT BREAK which is causing parents to quarantine their children .What I am hearing as reporter is that this FLU has caused the most deaths since decades and its NOT GETTING BETTER.
The OFFICIALS – are saying this is the worst flu season in nearly a decade and it’s not getting better. As we reported earlier this week, there isn’t an official count of all who have died from the flu or complications from the flu because there is no official reporting of deaths where the victim is over 18-year-old. This is why you hear only about the number of child deaths from the flu. Locally, we polled the local funeral homes a few weeks ago to get an estimated death count from the flu and complications from the flu based on their information from the family of the deceased along with any medical information given to the funeral homes. At that point we estimated there had been 12 deaths in Cumberland County from the flu since the first of November. We personally know of four who have died of flu complications in the county in the past two months. Those four victims were 61, 57, 60 and 27 years old. There is a national estimate of how many are hospitalized suffering from the flu or pneumonia. Many of those hospitalized with the flu may die in the hospital – but still there is no requirement to report those deaths over 18 years old to the CDC.
