It’s very easy to disprove that flat earth with the stars in the south. The southern Cross rotates around the southern celestial pole in the same manner as the big dipper rotates around the northern celestial pole. On a flat earth, the southern cross would have to move from east to west around the flat earth ice wall at 15 degrees per hour in order to make one revolution and be back at the same spot as the day before. But the southern cross does not move east to west as it only rotates around the south celestial pole. On a flat earth, If its daylight in Australia, then its dark in south Africa and south America at the same time. How is it possible that both south Africa and south America can see the southern cross at the same time looking directly south when they are in different locations next to the ice wall? Can’t you see the error that your making by supporting this flat earth baloney.
Dear ‘bigscifilover’, I continue our conversation from a few ‘Flat-Earth’ videos ago. The “Southern Cross” poses a problem since it is allegedly “southerly static in the sky during each moments of the 24 hours of the day”. Have you been in the southern hemisphere? I have not, so, I made the best researches possible, and found something intriguing while questioning: “Is the Southern Cross static in the sky?” and this is the answer that I got: “You can find the Southern Cross by the Pointers – two bright stars that point towards it. THE CROSS CHANGES POSITION IN THE SKY AS THE EARTH ROTATES. For example, on 1 April it is upright and high overhead, while on 1 October it is upside-down and low in the sky.” I understand that this answer to my question is about the ‘rotation during a calendar year, and not within the 24 hours rotation’, but still, in the case of a ‘globe earth’ how is it possible that the Southern Cross remains visible all 4 seasons’ long? since ‘the sky should be rendered invisible by the sun’?
In all case, unless there is an absolutely irrefutable proof which demonstrate that the earth is a globe in the heliocentric system, I must stay into the geocentric system.
The Sun is in a direction of the Tropic of Cancer, moving toward the Equator and on to the Tropic of Cancer, then visa versa. Therefore it is not in line with the north or south of our planet and would not get washed out if you were looking in those two directions. The reason the southern cross is right side up and then upside down has to do with the rotation around the sun. Your April 1st example would pot us on one side of the Sun, and then on Oct 1st we are on the opposite side of the sun so the earth is in a 180 degree difference in the night time and the southern cross would look to be upside down. But the southern cross is still directly south and can be seen from South America, South Africa and Austraiia all at the same time (especially during a Lunar eclipse), which is not possible on a flat earth. Maybe if you could comprehend the math you would see the error you are making in your statement. The formula is “miles squared times 8 inches while looking at the horizontal line” (not the horizon). You would need to use a level if you are using a telescope (or a surveyors scope) or set up a level board in order to keep yourself from looking “down” at the horizon.

The Pythagorean Theorem equation is for a right angle triangle calculation. not for curvature of a surface. Your not using your math in the right context.
