Christmas Where Have Our Voices Gone

While walking around in the city this weekend watching people scurrying around smiles and some frowns wondering if any of them understood how our freedoms were being taking away in every Republican state.

As I passed the Freedom Towers knowing that this is the very same spot of where our Twin Towers once stood so tall and proud that now have been taken away with a horrific action of terror that continues to affect our life with all new laws inflicted upon as we were the criminals of this horrible act

Which our law makers now are suppressing all our rights as Americans and with our constitutional 1^st amendment we seen to now have become more a dictatorship with no voice or freedom that once was before September 11, 2001?

As in the patriot act they have wiretap our phones without our knowledge, unauthorized profiling according to their specifications which could mean of any color race or creed and or religion.

Now in Michigan Republican Governor Rick Snyder taking away their right to vote for local government officials and appoint unelected emergency managers or corporations in their place. Back in March, 2011, the Republican Michigan legislature passed Public Act 4 to appoint emergency managers to take over entire operations of cities, towns and school districts and fire local elected officials without any say from citizens. This is a frontal assault on democracy liberty.

And I believe it will continue to grow if not turn over in every Republican state for this is what they have been trying to enforce turn the USA into a police state as in most of your third world countries in the Middle East.

While most Republican state are focusing on mostly poor and black Latino neighbor hoods there are also white people living in these areas that are being attacked having their voices suppressed as back during the late 50’s and early 60’s. Most people of age won’t be able to have a voter ID card for they won’t be able to find their birth certificate or have a driver’s license.

The wealth of this country has monopolized the down fall of USA by turning us backward into a way of living by silencing the voices of the people, making us into a police state in every Republican state by taking away our constitutional freedoms that have been written into law.

As again as I walked around the big apple listening to the music everywhere you go of good will toward men happy holidays to all I wondered how long we the people would have this freedom to just walk freely without being arrested as people we know now can be arrest if in a group of more than four people together as in Wisconsin Governor Scout Walker has made into law this is a group now called a protest of sorts.

The Republican has memory loss for they love tax cuts except when it comes to helping the poor and or at their expense. So if a tax cut is for the under privilege they must be paid for when knowing all before according to the Republicans tax cuts always paid for themselves.

We the people if poor or even our seniors don’t have money we don’t get help from the Republicans anymore the have defunded every program in fact if you ask them we abuse the food stamp program to eat. Never do they think about health care that all people need that is extremely costly for any person on a fixed income knowing you needs a secondary always. So my question is while all people in the city shopping hustling and bustling around listening to the sweet sounds of Christmas music who is thinking of the ones who don’t even have a home.

A homeless person living on New Dorp Staten beach Island NY  could be a mother, possibly a grandmother but her family not knowing where she is living while she sits on a piece of drift wood gazing at the ocean wondering where her next meal will come from or will she receive a Christmas miracle just be able to have her voice heard vote without a voter ID card.  

We’re not even left with our dignity after all we fought for or believed in for now we sit in the sand on drift wood hoping no one sees us here without a home food a place to call our own.

This could be you or me all of us a reflection in a mirror because of the economy the Republican Party that cheers for us to die if we don’t have medical when we reach the emergency room if in an accident or dehydrated  Malnutrition that brings us into the emergency room

When the wealth of this country lobbyist hedge fund managers ETC are enjoying their Christmas stealing away our rights of freedom we must remember what the Statue of Liberty stands for and also the Freedom Towers now in place of where the once Twin Tower stood tall and so very proud representing our Democracy and Liberty this great country because of what we the people made this country to be not of what our politicians have stolen from us but how we the people worked hard of every race color creed religion across every sea that came here to immigrate into a land we call the United States of America
