Alex Jones, Mike Adams and Jim Kouri: Trying to Incite a Riot in the State of Michigan?

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

On Friday, April 20, I published an article that demonstrated conclusively that the current story sweeping the nation in the so-called “alternative” media contending that the state of Michigan is using SWAT teams to invade family farms and exterminate livestock, specifically pigs, is blatantly false.  Imagine my surprise when two days later there appeared on my news feed an article written by another journalist written for the very same online newspaper, the Examiner, Jim Kouri, that essentially did nothing but regurgitate the lies that are currently being propagated by both Alex Jones and Mike Adams.  As a consequence it is necessary that we revisit that particular issue, because for some reason the sedition spreading, civil unrest stirring cointel pro operatives of the NWO currently have as their target the state of Michigan.

The frenzy over this falsified story has become such that the Michigan Department of National Resources has found it necessary to issue a statement to “set the record straight,” and spent much of last week defending itself against unjustified accusations and trying to calm the fears of worried citizens in that state.  According to that statement, no raids on properties have occurred, the DNR has killed not a single swine, and nobody has been arrested or had their constitutional rights violated.   Those facts were expounded upon by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources public information officer, Ed Golder, who stated that all inspections have been done on a voluntary basis, and almost all of the inspected breeding and hunting facilities contained none of the prohibited swine, and the reader will note that the inspected facilities are used specifically for the purpose of breeding and hunting the particular types of “wild” swine enumerated in the order as well as in my previous article, of which there were approximately 65 in the state, and were not family farms raising domestic pigs for human consumption.  According to Golder, in the process of inspecting the facilities that had previously been involved in the breeding and hunting of the animals that are prohibited under the law, only two have so far required a court order, and those orders were issued for the properties referred to as the Deer Tracks Ranch in Fife Lake, and Renegade Ranch Hunting Preserve in Cheboygan County.

According to Mr. Golder, upon execution of the court order to inspect the Deer Tracks Ranch, which according to their own website is “Michigan’s largest single hunting enclosure” (italics added), none of the particular swine were found that are prohibited under the law, and nobody forced the proprietors to kill the swine they had previously been in possession of, as has been maintained.  And given that the proprietors of that facility had a fifteen month window in which to dispose of the prohibited animals, the decision to dispose of them in the manner it is averred they were disposed of was theirs and theirs alone, and had absolutely nothing to do with the actual inspections that have recently begun, as the animals were disposed of prior to that.  The Renegade Ranch in Cheboygan County, however, is another story.

Upon inspection of the Renegade Ranch, which by their own admission, as specified by their website, is a “private hunting reserve located in beautiful northern Michigan,” the DNR did find some of the prohibited swine, and responded by filing a civil suit against the proprietors of that facility, as opposed to invading the property with a SWAT team and executing prohibited animals, as Jones, Adams, and Kouri have alleged they are doing.  The judge in that case ruled in favor of the DNR, and ordered the facility “not to obtain any prohibited types of swine while a state lawsuit against them goes forward,” although they are allowed to “continue offering hunts of their remaining swine and must let the DNR inspect their property sometime during the next four weeks,” presumably to ensure that they are not in violation of the order.  The additional insidious implication in Kouri’s article that this current action being taken on the part of the Michigan state government is also rooted in the objections to the consumption of pork by “a state full of radical Islamists who object to the eating of pork” is in itself another cointel pro style attempt at stirring civil unrest among the citizens of that state.  Everything, and I mean everything, they are saying is a blatant lie, and I am quite sure they are fully cognizant of that fact.  The links they provide in their articles to substantiate their unfounded claims indicates that they are, or at least should be, if they bothered to read the material in the links they provided.

In the section of his article in which Kouri states explicitly that the Michigan law is being interpreted so broadly that “any pig in Michigan wild or domestic could be prohibited” he provides a link that is at least somewhat deceptive, as what he says about the link implies that it will lead directly to the Declaratory Ruling issued by the DNR in December of 2011.  It doesn’t.  Instead, the link goes directly to something referred to as the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund and the intent is clearly to sidetrack the reader into donating money to the defense of a farmer whose property nobody from the DNR has ever set foot upon, according to Mr. Golder.  In fact, if you read the suit filed by Mr. Baker, whose farm is a legitimate farm as opposed to a game hunting preserve, he admits that he doesn’t really know what breed his pigs actually are, only that they were raised in Michigan.  So why the civil suit against the DNR?  As Baker’s farm is a legitimate farming operation, he had nothing to fear from the DNR.  Either Mr. Baker is in possession of some of the prohibited swine and knows it, or this smells suspiciously like another attempt to propagandize the entire situation into something it definitely is not.  The links provide in the naturalnews.com article written by Mike Adams indicates that he should be fully aware of the deception he is propagating as well.

Although the Adams article does provide a direct link to section 40.4 of the DNR’s Declaratory Ruling, that is about all it does.  In spite of the fact that he provides the evidence one needs to prove his contentions are untrue, Adams proceeds to carry on with his indictment of the Michigan DNR based upon false premises, as he proceeds to deceptively stipulate that the selection of the swine that is prohibited is based solely on hair color when in fact the traits listed are merely characteristic of the specific breeds of swine prohibited.  And there is no getting around that particular fact.  If in doubt, all one has to do is conduct a brief online search of the breeds specified in the ruling to ascertain the truth of this particular assertion.  So why all the fuss among the “alternative” media?

For reasons that I have not yet been able to ascertain, the coinel pro operatives among the “alternative” media and the so called truth movement currently have as their target the state of Michigan,   but the evidence to disprove the claims made by Jones, Adams, and Kouri is readily available and will be attached as links at the end of this article, and I urge everyone who reads this to do the research themselves if in doubt.  As citizens of this great country we have got to learn to think for ourselves, as opposed to just believing everything the talking heads and the print journalists try to pass off as factual, and it is my contention that if it comes from either the mainstream or “alternative” media it is best to just assume that it is false and proceed from there.  If on the odd chance we are pleasantly surprised to find that the information we have been given is in fact true, that will not be such a bad thing, although I would caution everyone not to anticipate that happening with much frequency.
