This will shock you. The video was posted by David Vose. I believe few have ever seen evidence, let alone proof, that Cannabis is in the bible. The word Cannabis today, may actually be derived from the Hebrew word used in scripture. The actual word cannabis is literally in the New Testament as well.
The City Jesus did his first Miracle in was called Cana, that is the word we get Cannabis from. Cana is a Greek Transliteration of Cannabis. This was anciently known as the City of Cannabis. Watch this video it may change your whole perspective on Jesus.

Good question.
Increasingly, people in the West are seeking out treatments that work harmoniously with the body, instead of against it – in other words, they’re walking away from the medical establishment and all its mishaps, mistakes and pharmaceutical drugs.
A case in point is cannabis, especially in its raw form.
A Rich History
Marijuana is one of those plants that, to many, conjures visions of Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) raids and hippies in a drugged-out daze.
But it wasn’t always this way. “The ancient Chinese knew of marijuana’s pain-relieving and mind-altering effects, yet it was not widely employed for its psychoactive properties; instead it was cultivated as hemp for the manufacture of rope and fabric.
Likewise, the ancient Greeks and Romans used hemp to make rope and sails. In some other places, however, marijuana’s intoxicating properties became important. In India, for example, the plant was incorporated into religious rituals.
During the Middle Ages, its use was common in Arab lands; in 15th-century Iraq it was used to treat epilepsy; in Egypt it was primarily consumed as an inebriant.
After Napoleon’s occupation of Egypt, Europeans began using the drug as an intoxicant. During the slave trade, it was transported from Africa to Mexico, the Caribbean and South America. Marijuana gained a following in the U.S. only relatively recently.
During the second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th, cannabis was freely available without a prescription for a wide range of ailments, including migraine and ulcers,” Roger A. Nicoll and Bradley N. Alger remind us in Scientific American.
Even American Founding Father Thomas Jefferson declared: “Hemp is of first necessity to the wealth and protection of the country.”
So what happened?
In 1937, the United States Congress decided – against the recommendation of the American Medical Association – to pass the Marijuana Tax Act. The legislation essentially banned the use of marijuana by making it excessively expensive and difficult to secure.
It has been downhill ever since. That is, until the last few years where legalization of marijuana has exploded in the U.S., for both recreational and medicinal uses.
For our purposes here, we’re going to look at the health benefits of the plant – which are quite impressive.
An Essential Vegetable

It may be a stretch for some to recognize raw cannabis as the next in-demand superfood, but Dr. William L. Courtney, a physician with extensive medical training who specializes in the dietary uses of cannabis, presents a provocative case.
When you heat or age cannabis, Dr. Courtney believes that you lose 99% of the benefit cannabis provides.
In contrast, if you consume it raw, you’ll reap the full value of the plant. Plus, raw cannabis is non-psychoactive, so you won’t experience a high – an important point for those who would like to utilize the healing aspects of cannabis without feeling drugged or off-center.

A study (Taming THC – Potential Cannabis Synergy and Phytocannabinoidterpenoid Entourage Effects) published in the British Journal of Pharmacology states that terpenoids are,
“pharmacologically versatile: they are lipophilic, interact with cell membranes, neuronal and muscle ion channels, neurotransmitter receptors, G-protein coupled (odorant) receptors, second messenger systems and enzymes.”
The researchers explored the powerful effect terpenes exert in animal tests.
Limonene was found to increase serotonin in the prefrontal cortex and dopamine in the hippocampus region of the brain – both of which help fend-off depression and feelings of stress.
Moreover, limonene induces apoptosis (cell death) of breast cancer cells and demonstrated exceptional radical scavenging properties. It’s also remarkably bio-available, rapidly metabolized and is highly non-toxic and non-sensitizing.
Myrcene is anti-inflammatory and an effective sleep aid, while pinene acts as a bronchodilator and broad spectrum antibiotic – including the destruction of lethal MRSA bacteria.
Pinene also curbs inflammation. Linalool is a sedative and anticonvulsant.
Caryophyllene is antimalarial, anti-inflammatory and useful in treating duodenal ulcers.
Nerolidol inhibits fungal growth and protozoal parasites.
Phytol increases GABA expression, resulting in a calming effect.
These are just a handful of the 200 varieties of terpenes found in cannabis.

To some, especially those unfamiliar to cannabis as a medicine, this may sound a little far-fetched, but the numbers stand strong, and the study is the most comprehensive we have on the issue.

To many legalization advocates this is nothing new, but to those who haven’t heard it before, it’s a shock.
As part of a short-lived federal medical marijuana program (yes, the hypocrisy is thick as mud), four people who were grandfathered in receive 300 pre-rolled cannabis joints from the government every month. And they have for years.
The program’s initial existence, and the government’s continuation of supplying these joints, adds an odd layer to the current war on cannabis that sees the feds putting people in prison for years for far less than the 300 joints they supply to these individuals every month.

Recent studies have shown states that have legalized the usage of medical marijuana have seen a significant decrease in suicide rates. The most heavily impacted group were males ages 20-29, which saw an 11% decrease.
In these same states, there was also a decrease in traffic fatalities.

Cannabis and other strong drugs are a gateway for demonic possession, it is why there is such a push for their legislation by those who already are under demonic control.
The internet is full of story of heavy users having nasty voices in their heads that among other things tell that individual to kill those around them.
20 years ago one demon asked to be let into my body and because I refused it said it would kill my family and friends. I prayed the Lord’s prayer and my soul returned to my body and once I was back in my body I could no longer see that demon even though I felt that evil lurking around. If you hear voices after smoking weed you should see a doctor. It can trigger illness like schizophrenia when it runs in your family. But this says something about you, not cannabis. Weed is actually one of a few drugs that aren’t evil. Which doesn’t wreck you. Alcohol for example is a lot worse. Alcohol takes lives. This is not my doctrine I did not create anything, I didn’t author a single scripture nor has God commissioned me to teach. What you seem to demand from me is not possible until such a commission, however if you want elaboration or to better understand what I am advocating I’ve told you repeatedly where to find God’s true doctrine. Too bad I haven’t yet learned how to use this feature without making a mess of things.
Because it is a huge lie that mortal man has an immortal spirit or soul, it is more than obvious the rest of your entry is equally deceitful. This is the doctrine of the “harlot.” I will tell you from personal experience that if you don’t have God’s Spirit it doesn’t matter what you say to evil entities. If you open the door through sin and pridefully refuse to repent they will walk right in.
If you embrace false doctrine the demons know that the god you are crying out to isn’t the One True God, or the distorted image of the emasculate version of Jesus isn’t the Christ. True faith and obedience to God is what the demons fear not any arbitrary words that leave your lips that lack the divine authority to exercise your threat. Any belief God’s name is some magic potion that controls the action of these demons is ridiculously presumptuous and totally wrong.
Not to say that these type of visits don’t happen, they most certainly do. Before being called I myself was approached by demons. The greys actually laughed at me and were unaffected when I demanded they leave my presence in the name of God, or Jesus Christ. I was a Jehovah’s Witness at the time ignoring the forth commandment worshiping their version of God on exactly the opposite of God’s required seventh day Sabbath.
The demons knew the god I was reaching out to at the time did not really exist, that he was/is a figment of imagination. They knew I was guilty of idolatry and had not repented of it. That meant I could not receive God’s Spirit as He will not dwell in sin. The demons can smell the sin they thrive off like hungry lions they lay in wait. Without the armor of God to protect us, unless we remain in a constant state of repentance evil entities can affect our lives in many negative ways.
Don’t mistakenly assume for a moment that you have more spiritual power and authority than you have. you’ll be awfully disappointed when the time comes and you discover as I did you have no power against demons accept that which comes from the One True God. Protection cannot come from some imaginative imposter the harlot has cunningly devised.

I have to agree with you on that. When I was an adolescent, about 14 years old, I tried smoking pot only because of peer pressure and trying to fit in. I liked it. I became a person who clamored for more pot, more pot…I wasn’t physically addicted but I sure would rather be high than straight. My fascination for all things pot ended when an older friend told me about Jesus Christ. Being raised Catholic (and not good ones at that, more of just dabblers) I wasn’t keen on the idea. I had tried that already or so I thought and there was nothing there. I decided to read the bible for myself. I began to read and ask questions to my friend for a few weeks until one night, after reading in Romans 5:1, the light came on…I realized I was a sinner who had violated God’s commandments and I cried tears of joy and sorrow – joy for having the peace of God through Christ and sorrow for having neglected Him for so long.
Prior to becoming a Born Again Christian, especially when I was smoking pot daily, I hung around with the wrong crowd. I thought I was something special and cool and all that, just simply, better somehow. I remember making plans to meet a friend at a department store at closing time to hold up old ladies for their purses at knife point! And even though we never did that, whenever I think about the fact that I actually entertained such an idea, I am still fascinated!
After having been regenerated in my spirit, I changed and became very sensitive to the sin I was involved in and of other’s sins around me. I didn’t have much training in the ways of God and neither parent was thrilled with the idea that their son had become “one of them”, a fanatic and closed minded Christian. I had nothing to help me and to teach me so I fell back into the world. I kept the same friends because I knew no others and one day we left school to go in a friends car at lunch time. I smelled the joint before it came to me. This would be the first time I had smoked since being born again and when the joint came my way, I just couldn’t pass it up; not because I wanted it but because I didn’t want to be “uncool”.
It came around again followed by another and another and I smoked and smoked. Suddenly, I noticed an unpleasant feeling which increased in intensity to the point that I was gripping the car seat and rocking back and forth saying in my head “NO! NO!” It was the feeling of HELL! I never felt this way before! The Holy Ghost was leaving my spirit and it felt like someone was ripping the insides out of me! Then paranoia struck and I was at the point of panic. I couldn’t take this. I wanted to be alone. I felt so filthy that I was convinced that God was through with me. I found out later that this experience was God removing the comfort of His Spirit from me.
The fact is that before I was saved, (born again by believing in and having faith in Jesus Christ for the redemption of my sins) I was fine with pot; I even LOVED it but afterward, it was HORRIFIC! I have since come back to the Lord and He has forgiven me and will always forgive me and He will do the same for you if you will only stop believing what the world believes and take up a King James Bible (all other versions are corrupt and changed being sold on the market of this world for filthy lucre) and read for yourself about the gift that God gives to us by sending His Son in our place to pay for the sins that we cannot pay for, now or ever.
You better do this soon because we are at the very end of the end of the age of Grace and Jesus Christ is coming for those who are waiting for Him and He will take us from this world in an event called “the Catching Away of the Saints” or, more commonly known as the Rapture. If you want to go, PLEASE don’t wait any longer. Settle this thing and read His written word the KJB. They are only $1.00 at the Dollar Tree! The world is headed for Hell, don’t go with it.

First, before commenting I want to say that God requires Christians to obey the laws of man, if they don’t conflict with His. With that said here’s my input;
Cannabis does not get you “high” if you are experiencing significant pain it just helps to relieve it! If you are getting stoned when you use it for medical purposes you probably don’t need it. As a Christian the effectiveness and legality of it’s use dictate my acceptance of pot as a workable mechanism for relief, however the benefits of cannabis cannot be denied. I can attest to it’s efficiency with minimal side effects.
One thing mentioned by another poster suggested that using Cannabis opens your mind to demons. I have to concur with their warning, but only if you are getting high rather than relieving pain with it. Anytime you cloud your mind with intoxicants demons can, and often do take advantage of such opportunity to corrupt thinking, to promote sinful thought or action which separates one from God. It doesn’t matter the intoxicant. If you are legitimately seeking pain relief it’s a totally different ballgame!

What I cant understand is resistance to the plain facts or truth, even if it were the truth for just certain people. A popular plant like any other, given to us by god or the creator, yet easily rejected by mankind who even have chemical biological receptors for it!? In favor of what? Poisonous opioids sold by the medical establishment and who knows who else? Can anyone understand if a plant has chemical receptors in a human being it is an actual nutrient to that organism?
