Quarantining ALL of Society Because SOME are Sick?

It’s never been done before yet this is our new normal! It’s one thing for government to suggest or even highly recommend but when they essentially set aside the First, Second, Fourth or any other amendment (and have not even declared Martial Law), something is terribly wrong! It should not stand but we willingly complied.

Thanks to a friend of mine who highlighted a sermon from Matthew Trewhella called “COVID-19 & Quarantine Laws,” we have a Christian pastor who has taken a different approach to the current Coronavirus circulating throughout society.

His sermon (link below), is about 45 minutes in length and while I’m quite certain many will agree with him, I’m just as certain that many will disagree with him.

One thing I’ve believed since the beginning of this “epidemic,” is that it is a “controlled pandemic.” What do I mean by that? I mean that while I firmly believe that the Coronavirus is very real with people actually dying, it is nowhere near the epidemic or pandemic that we are led to believe by the government and the helping hand of the mainstream media (MSM).

The government is creating fear and panic throughout society so that people will come to believe that if we do not remain in our homes, we will become victims of Coronavirus. The abject fear that is floating around society is becoming palpably real and slowly strangulating all of society to the point that we are willing to give up the guaranteed rights we have under the Constitution of the United States of America.

Went to the bank today to find they were open but the door locked. The teller came over to the door and without letting me in took my deposits to process. I waited outside the building!

If you go to Home Depot, you’ll likely encounter a line outside only to be allowed in when a person who has been inside Home Depot exits the store. Lowes is a bit better. You can come and go without lines.

I cannot believe that our society and especially Christians have willingly stepped aside to allow the government to shut our schools, businesses and even churches! While I think his theology is extremely off-base, Rodney Howard-Browne was just arrested in Florida for having an actual church service with people gathered. [1]

All the models put out by experts has been wrong. Every projection experts have put forth has been wrong.

In his sermon, Pastor Trewhella stated, “They want to make not knowing who is sick the real issue so that everyone will go along with (government’s) tyranny and lock down the whole nation, past two trillion in spending and whatever remains to be seen.”

Folks, in case you are not aware, government is seeking greater control over society! They are doing this under the guise of “caring” about us but the facts, as Trewhella pointed out, this same government allows and encourages abortion on demand and other atrocities against people.

What the MSM is handing us is a load of garbage. They are NOT reporting from all sources. They pick and choose the “experts” they will highlight.

People love to quote Romans 13. I’ve gotten sick and tired of hearing that from pastors all over. It’s like their go-to passage. “Hey, we are supposed to obey government unless they directly oppose God’s Word!” Okay, but these same people don’t even bat an eye where abortion is concerned. Why aren’t ALL Christians standing against abortion?

I agree with Trewhella when he says that too many Christians today are marching toward statism, which elevates the state (government). We simply go along. We are obeying the state to the exclusion of God’s Word! This should not be! It does NOT mean we become violent or confrontational. It simply means we use common sense and obey God’s Word when it comes to societal rules for living.

Have you noticed that with today’s current shelter in place rules (and even hard and fast orders by mayors and governors to remain at home), our First Amendment rights are essentially gone. Recently, several Christians who were obeying the social distancing rules of North Carolina outside an abortion clinic (an “essential” service), while praying for the women inside, were arrested because they had not sheltered in place! [2] This is ASININE!

In fact, if you read the article linked below, you’ll learn that they were under the number of 10 people gathered and maintaining social distancing. From the article…

A whole squadron of police officers come down here and violate someone’s First Amendment rights,” he said. “This is absolutely ridiculous. The resources of this city are being wasted by sending people down here to stop people from praying against the scandal of abortion. These people are trying their best to do this and still follow the guidelines that have been set forth by the state and by the county and our city council and our mayor think that it’s essential to send police officers to browbeat people who are praying.

What are some of the takeaways from this whole Coronavirus situation?

• government took away our rights
• we obeyed
• we are all being treated as though we have the Coronavirus
• the situation that exists goes against Scripture of Leviticus 13
• a new “normal” is being formed
• the call to vaccinate everyone is likely coming whether you want it or not
• the government is attempting to gain more control over society and we are complying

Can you imagine Jesus obeying these societal rules? He had 12 apostles. According to today’s rules, He wouldn’t be able to meet with all of them at the same time! You believe Jesus would go for that? I hope you don’t!

Folks, we have made it way too easy for government to censor and control us. However, we likely deserve it because of our inability to follow God closely and hear Him through His Word.

Make a change today. Begin to seek God and His will and I guarantee you one thing…if you are not in His Word, you have NO chance of knowing what His will is for your life. Only you can change that.

Life is going to get more complex and it would not surprise me if the new “normal” that will come to the fore going forward is for the government to shut down society every time there’s another health scare. We willingly went along with them this time and they know it.

Why should next time be any different?
