Theology and Politics from a Conservative, Biblical Perspective
I find it difficult at times myself, sifting through all the junk that’s in the way that keeps us from trusting Him! I need to learn to persevere more in doing what I can to trust Him, irrespective of the way things look in society.
As Christians, we all want to trust the Lord, don’t we? At the same time, there are so many things that are vying for our attention, pulling us this way and that, it is difficult to remain stalwart in our purpose and thinking. Who among us can manage it 24/7/365? No one.
What I’m finding out for myself (and you may be completely different in your approach), is that I have severely lowered my expectations as far as ever returning to any sort of previous normalcy. Because of that, I find that I’m not really as frustrated as I could be. I can think more critically and puzzle through things more easily. It also allows me to place and keep my eyes on the Lord and His purposes as revealed in Scripture. However, this is not constant, though I wish it was so.
I don’t want to preach to you, but I think it’s more important than ever that we gather with other authentic Christians who can help us firm up our outlook in life, understand the times in which we live and encourage one another draw strength from God. I truly believe this is extremely urgent.
What we are seeing in society now (globally), is a major push toward a unified global society, ultimately headed up by a one-world government. I’ve seen nothing that makes me think this push is merely tepid or temporary. It’s a huge, solid, concerted effort by globalists to secure what they believe is their rightful place in this world. They believe they were put here to rule over the serfs (us); that they are the true “bluebloods” destined to reign.
As I’ve repeatedly said, unless the Lord steps in and stops things from progressing, things will continue to move toward the point of unification that will ultimately coalesce the entire world under the rule of Satan and his minions. Of course, in this physical plane we call earth, Satan will rule ultimately through his coming spiritual son, Antichrist. Wish I knew who he was, where he lives on this planet at this moment, and when he’ll rise to the top, but I don’t.
This does not mean that I know exactly where we are on God’s timeline. I have no clue when the Rapture will happen or when the Tribulation will actually begin (day and time of each). It just seems to me that we are approaching these events like never before and with deep earnest.
There is simply so much disinformation out there and constantly being put out that it can literally make your head spin. The antidote for that is to be Scripturally grounded in our faith in Jesus. What this means and allows is a constant whirlwind of deceitful activities and lies all around us, yet we can be at peace within because we see the big picture as presented in the Bible.
This reminds me of Jesus asleep on the boat with the storm raging all around and the boat itself taking on water. The disciples were freaking out because of it and the fact that Jesus was sound asleep in the boat gave them more reason to be concerned (Matthew 8:23-27; Mark 4:35-40; Luke 8:22-24). Yet, He woke, calmed the storm and took them to task over their lack of faith.
While through this event, Jesus was emphasizing the fact that He controls nature (because He was/is God), the other point He was making is that if we have faith in Him we do not have to be overtaken emotionally by our circumstances. That is the most difficult part of being a Christian in my opinion; keeping control over our emotions as is best done by keeping Jesus in our line of vision.
Jesus does not want us to be overtaken emotionally. He does not want us to worry about things. He wants us to recognize the times in which we live, yet continue to look to Him and never stop evangelizing the lost.
Recall the apostle Paul stated that “we are not unaware of Satan’s schemes so that he should outwit us,” (2 Cor 2:11). That is truth, like the rest of Scripture! Truth that changes our focus. Paul was saying that he had come to understand the many ways that Satan attempted to outwit or overcome Paul and those he traveled with and because of Paul’s understanding he was able to look beyond the schemes to see God in the process.
When bad things happen, it is easy for us at times to feel overwhelmed, just like Elijah, Jonah and other prophets of old. When that happens, it should be signal to us that we have taken our eyes off of Jesus and focused them on the situation itself. Instead, we should recognize the situation that exists but look past it to see Jesus working. I think this is what Paul meant. This is why he was often so unflappable and consistent in his demeanor and testimony. He muscled onward in spite of what Satan often through at him.
We also need to remember that Satan wants to defeat us at every turn, doesn’t he? Paul felt defeated because of a thorn in the flesh, right? So, he did the right thing and went to the Lord about it. Even though we don’t know what that particular thorn was, Paul approached the situation correctly. He didn’t cave into discouragement. He took it to the Lord. The Lord responded but not by removing the thorn but by reminding Paul that His (Jesus’) grace was more than enough (2 Cor 12). What did he learn from that? Paul learned that depending on the Lord for grace to emotionally overcome his “thorn” provided him with greater insight. He understood that the Lord allowed the thorn to humble Paul, so that he would not become proud of the visions God had sent his way.
So too, can we and should we rightly understand what is going on in society and where it may lead. However, this should NOT destroy us emotionally. It should simply help us understand what God is allowing for His glory. One of my readers sent me a link to this particular article – Preparing For The National Meltdown No Matter Who Wins – and it sums up what many are feeling based on what we’ve been hearing and reading. In essence, no matter who wins this presidential election, there could be major societal upheaval.
This makes sense, doesn’t it? How can Satan possibly build his kingdom without upheaval? It’s not going to come in peacefully and nowhere does Scripture represent that as happening. In fact, when we carefully study Daniel 2 where it speaks of all the Gentile empires and the resurgence of the last one or the “revised Roman Empire” in the last days (now), it speaks of iron mixed with clay. Rome was a force to be reckoned with and few people alive when Rome was at its zenith were nonplussed over Rome. They feared Rome because Rome was exceedingly brutal.
I believe that this final revised Roman Empire will be even more oppressive and brutal. It is being built all around us and what will come of it is a complete destruction of life as we know it now. Our lives and the way we have lived will be overtaken and supplanted with something seriously cruel and foreboding. The “iron” will stamp down our lives in an effort to mold us into something we are not. The “clay” represents us, the people who are on the receiving end of this brutality.
Why now? Why is this happening around the world? Because it apparently appears to be God’s timing that is allowing it. God allows Satan to do as he will only when it aligns with God’s purposes and again, that seems to be where we are at right now. However, it could be that God is allowing this but will put a hold on it after certain things are accomplished. From the looks of the Left though, they appear to be in it to win it, so we’ll see what happens.
I’ve stated before in numerous articles here that I believe Islam is being used by the globalists as part of the worldwide “Arab Spring” to create chaos and havoc throughout the world. In the USA, instead of using Islam, these same globalists are using AntiFa and BLM, though Islam appears to be used within the political realm as we know from certain members of Congress now. However, the purposes are all the same with all these groups being built on Marxism and Marxist principles, to undercut and destroy the USA.
Check this out from today’s Twitter. A Muslim tweeted out his desire to see continuing attacks and murder committed by Muslims in the name of Islam and Muhammad. Why? Because as he tweeted, the French deserve it for the way they treated Muslims over the years.
But what’s interesting is that while Twitter admits the tweet violated Twitter Rules, they also believe the tweet should remain up and available because it might be in the public’s interest.
Is this why Jack Dorsey the CEO of Twitter has a beard? Has he become at least sympathetic to Islam and Muslim causes?
By the way, the tweet expresses support for the recent Muslim attacks and beheadings of French people. This is despicable, but yet, it is what Satan’s worshippers (and Jack Dorsey has said how much he loves the Satanic Bible), want to please their master. They are dedicated to Satan and his agenda. They stand against God, which is obviously why on Twitter, if you’re a Christian, you are automatically shadowbanned. It’s interesting though to see some very large accounts on Twitter of conservatives and Christians. This allows Twitter to deny that they shadowban anyone because they can simply point to those large accounts.
I’ve been shadowbanned for several years now. Interestingly enough, my account must somehow be locked at 11,100 followers. As soon as I get to 11,200 followers, the number magically returns to 11,100. Note that on my account, it shows as being “reply deboosted.” What this means is that very few people will see anything I post on Twitter. It’s like being behind a curtain. This was not always the way it was though. When I first began on Twitter, I would get tons of replies, retweets and retweets with quotes. That doesn’t happen now and hasn’t for quite some time. But Jack Dorsey can go before Congress and tell them with a straight face that they don’t “shadowban” anyone. It’s a lie.
Regarding my shadowbanning, I’ve asked Twitter to remove the limits placed on my account, but to no avail. Why is this happening? Doesn’t God want His Word out? Of course He does, but if He chooses to limit who sees my tweets, including each time I post a new Study-Grow-Know blog article, that’s totally up to Him, isn’t it? I’m only responsible for preaching the Gospel and relating what I believe the Bible states. It is up to God who will hear it and how far it goes.
At any rate, look up, focus on Him. When situations in life appear bad or beyond our control, the reason that God allows them is for us to lean completely on Him. He may not remove the “thorn,” but will strengthen us to bear up under the weight of it. In the process, we will likely learn something that we did not know about ourselves, God or both.
