End Times: The Tribulation

I’ve written a book called Between Weeks that explains these “weeks” in detail for those who want more in-depth understanding of how we arrive at the meaning of “weeks” or “sevens” in Scripture. But please notice starting with verses 25-26 where Messiah (the Prince), is mentioned and then following that is the mention of “the prince who is to come.” This, as can be imagined is cause for confusion with some thinking it refers back to Jesus (Messiah, the Prince), while others believe it to be some Roman Caesar of past history, while yet others believe it to be the future Antichrist. I believe it is the latter. The text refers to the “…people of the prince who is to come.” In other words, the focus is on the people (Gentiles), here, not necessarily that specific prince, although this seems to make clear that the coming “prince” of the people will be Gentile, the same ethnicity of people who destroyed the city of Jerusalem in AD 70 (the Romans led by Titus). Daniel is writing about events here that will ultimately lead up to the coming of the final man of sin (2 Thessalonians 2), otherwise known as the Antichrist and how that will happen.

While some think that Titus was the Antichrist, it seems clear he was simply a type of Antichrist (like Nimrod, Antiochus Epiphanes IV, Hitler, Stalin, etc.). The final Antichrist will rule the entire world as head of the coming final world order. That has not happened yet, but it should be very clear that we are certainly heading in that direction.

We have Klaus Schwab (with his “Great Reset/Great Narrative” that we’ll discuss soon), being pushed and built right before our eyes. The momentum is building in various parts of the world with one country after another going into full lock-down over a virus that has a survivability rate of at least 99%. It is being used to artificially steer the entire world into a specific direction so that the final world order can find fulfillment from Daniel 2. Remember when they told us once most were vaccinated, we could return to normal? In spite of numerous countries being nearly all vaxxed, they are still going into full lock-down mode: Canada, UK, Gibraltar, Australia, Wales, Ireland, etc. Why do they keep moving the goal posts? Consider what the woman in the image has to say about returning to Canada and what she went through. To top it off, she is fully vaxxed, but what they put her through proves that being vaxxed does not guarantee anything. Something is seriously wrong.

Please notice Daniel 9:27, which is a very important verse in the timeline. It tells us that “he” will confirm a covenant with the many for one week…but who is the “he” here? If we follow the rules of the first antecedent, it refers back to the last person spoken of, which in this case is the “prince” (of the people who is to come). It is this individual who will create a covenant with the many.

If two distinct people are highlighted here with the first being Messiah (Jesus) and the second the “prince” of the people who is to come, then it should also be clear that this second person who is not Jesus is the very person who will (future tense), broker a covenant with “the many” (Israel’s leaders) for how long? “One week,” which translates to seven years, aka the final “week” of Daniel’s 70 weeks (or 490 years), with a break between the seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. One “seven” and sixty-two “sevens” equals 69 “sevens” or 483 years total, with one week or “seven” remaining. This is the final seven years of the 490 years (seventy sevens or seventy weeks of years), in total.

So, have we seen anyone on the world’s scene who has stepped up to successfully broker a seven year covenant with the leaders of Israel? No, we have not. We have a lot of talk, we have some threats and we see the current Pope working with Islamic leaders to bring forth his idea of Chrislam and wants to have a physical center that will be the focal point for the world with Christianity, Islam and Judaism as its centerpiece in Germany, in the coming years. World leaders are largely ignoring or even panning Israel and are pushing for a “two-state solution.” Some are adamant in denying that Israel has any rights at all to the Temple Mount and it should go to Islam.

The rhetoric is anti-Israel and yet, when the Antichrist appears on the world’s scene, he will be heralded as a man of peace (cf. Revelation 6:1-2). This coming man of sin will wow the world with his ability to bring peace to the Middle East. When he does this, we can know that the beginning of the Tribulation is right around the corner.

So in spite of many on social media pointing to this seal, trumpet or bowl judgment opening, nothing can happen inside the Tribulation until the man of sin rises and gets Israel and surrounding Arab nations to sign a peace treaty on the dotted line.

The seven-year peace deal is the kickoff for the Tribulation!
