After the Queen’s death lead to Prince Charles becoming King Charles. The speculations arise to call the new leader “The Antichrist” as anticipated by Christians and conspiracy theorists. But does this mean he is The Antichrist?
Since the installing of Prince Charles advanced to King after the death of Queen Elizabeth, some suspect this will promote the actions of Antichrist. The habit is to plug in our most prominent leader into this position of Antichrist. Nero was Antichrist, Hiter was Antichrist, Reagan was Antichrist, Bush was Antichrist, Obama was Antichrist, even Trump was called Antichrist by some. Of course not mentioning all suspected. They have positions that put them in line of suspicion.
Many fit pieces in a prescribed “system” of eschatology to make it relate to current events. Some get too zealous in their accusations and throw the prominant obvious leaders off the cliff pointing fingers at them to beware. They overlook the identity that points them out in scripture because of verses that identify a characteristic that this one figure must hold. Scripture says a pompous one will arise as a little horn to blaspheme God, make himself to be God, and will not desire women. Some suspect this means he will be a homosexual from this inference.
The writer apostle John wrote there are MANY antichrists. In 2Thes 2 it says this will be Son of Perdition, Man of Sin who sits on the Temple of God proclaiming he is God. The interesting thing is the verse goes on to say the spirit of this iniquity is ALREADY and present now at the time of the writing.
