Rapture Coming Soon?
September is the time we hear many predictions of a biblical Rapture and speculations rise at this season. This is based on an Interpretation that the Zionist State of Israel revised in 1948 is the timepievce in which to measure the age. Every year at this time we hear from overzealous “prophets’ warning that God told them this event would happen that year. It comes and goes with no incident. What do they do? They just regurjitate the same for the following year.
The biblical doctrine extends from a theory taught that before The Antichrist appears the church must be taken out of the way, or RAPTURED, to take away the restrainer (1Thes 4), who is the Holy Spirit residing in believers of Jesus Christ.
In that many anticipate a literal “plucking up” of massive people who make the church worldwide in order for the next events. September is the suspected time since it illustrates feasts of God that have not supposedly been fulfilled by Jesus Christ. The narrative tells that in the generation Israel becomes a State this event will happen, followed by a 7 year tribulation after the churhc is gone to woo Israel into receiving Jesus when the sacrificies are re-instituted (Daniel 9) and a Third Temple is built to satisfy 2Thes 2.
The theory developed this way after publishers added C.I. Scofield footnotes with this narrative to the published Bible of the 20th Century. Seminaries began teaching it to their students, of whom became PAstors of churches to spread the doctrine. Socfield got his theiry from inspiration of John Darby in 1830, who was inspired by Edward Irving of England, who read the Jesuit articles of Lacunza and Ribera. Scofield wrote the narrative to support the Zionists of the Round Table, Balfour and Rothschilds.
