Significance.....A Movie??

     So Panoramik Productions contacted me a bit ago and told me about their interest in making Significance a movie. I laughed. Like, a lot. MY BOOK? A movie?? No way. Must be a hoax or something.
    Then when I looked into it and the company, and found it to be legit, I freaked. Holy crap. They are wanting to take my book and cut it into tiny pieces to sell on the big screen and make money off the thing I created. The story won’t be the same! The characters won’t be who I pictured! They’ll make it all sexed up and remove the innocence and googly-eyedness of their relationship! I won’t have any say in what goes on with my own creation!
     Then I had my first phone meeting with them and spoke to one of the producers. She explained who they were, what their vision was and how they were planning to go about it all. She put me completely at ease! Everything she described was what I would have wished and dreamed for the process.
     This company is what’s right for me and my book.
     I didn’t want million of dollars. That’s not what this movie or anything I put out is about. I didn’t want fame. I want the true meaning and essence of the story I wrote. Me and this company are completely on the same page about this movie. Their willingness to work with me makes me feel good about this project and I’m really looking forward to getting started.
     More updates to come as I sign papers with them and start the whole process soon!!
