Author Acquires Trademark of Hanged Serial Killer

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

It has been over a century since Herman Webster Mudgett a.k.a. Dr. H. H. Holmes met the hangman for his crimes committed at the time of the Columbian Exposition/World’s Fair held in Chicago in 1893. Dr. Holmes is conjectured to have killed over 200 people in his hotel, dubbed the infamous “Murder Castle,” which was designed for the sole purpose of attracting young female visitors and then killing them in the most diabolic fashion imaginable.

In his new book, coming out in just a few months, Author Dane Ladwig reveals startling new evidence placing Dr. Holmes in London during the Jack the Ripper murders. As a result of his research, Dane Ladwig has acquired the registered trademark to the name “Dr. Henry Howard Holmes a.k.a. Dr. H. H. Holmes.”

When asked why he would consider owning the trademark, he said, “I wish to preserve history.” According to Ladwig, during his research he was faced with many false records and accounts of Dr. Holmes history. He even encountered, “Fictional tales peddled off as fact, and they bother me  the most, because they are capitalists preying on peoples lack of information.”

Author Dane Ladwig wishes to defend and protect history by overseeing the use of the fictitious name(s) of the individual he is best known by,”Dr. Henry Howard Holmes a.k.a. Dr. H. H. Holmes.” His book promises to achieve what thousands of others have yet to do; close the case on the unknown identity of Jack the Ripper. The book trailer for his book, “Dr. H. H. Holmes and the Whitechapel Ripper,” has accomplished the feat of being the first book trailer to amass over 250,000 viewers in its first six weeks of release (book trailers normally accrue 2000 – 5000 views over a few years).

When asked what will happen if someone wants to use the trademark Mr. Ladwig responded, “I leave all the legal stuff to my counsel. That’s what he gets paid for. As long as the names are used in honest and ethical manners… and factual, I am glad to help anyone spread the word on this deranged psychopathic serial killer. Hopefully, the information helps someone down the line.”

Mr. Ladwig is not new to the scene. he is highly educated and has published other works. He has also interviewed convicted serial killers in his research.

In any event, Author Dane Ladwig is finding unique ways to have a positive impact on today’s history!
